This adorable cottage is situated on a quiet side road. The cottage has eveything you need inside and it also offers beautiful views from the front deck & back pool. With little light pollution in the area looking at the stars at night is magical and the Delaware River with all her beauty never disappoints the eye.

Very attentive hosts! Stayed here over 4th of July for a girls trip. We really capitalized on the pool. It’s secluded and quiet and lovely.

Abundantly perfect. Uncle Joes provided the most relaxing spot to unwind and sit in nature. Hospitality was an A. Little details like soothing music playing when we arrived to cookies gifted midstay. My pup Mama loved grilled steak, trolling for fish in the pond, and creeping under the bed (still trying to figure this habit out!). The cabin was immaculate and comfortable. The pool was clean and cool. Probably one of my top spots, absolutely recommend.

What a magnificent place! From day one we felt comfortable and welcome, as Rosie and Joe are wonderful hosts. On the first day, Joe greeted us with a delicious cinnamon cake and was always attentive to our needs. We didn't need any accommodations, as we found everything we needed in the fully equipped kitchen. We only had to bring our own food, and there was a supermarket just 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the pool all week thanks to the beautiful weather. It's definitely a place we want to return to because they were about to install a gorgeous hot tub!

We had a very relaxing stay at this lovely cottage in the woods. The hosts were very attentive to details and responded quickly whenever we had questions. We’ll be back!

A very nice stay

Me and my best friend wanted somewhere quiet to stay for a girls weekend and this place was perfect :) and the hosts were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and more

This has to be our favorite spot we have stayed at upstate so far. The pool was perfect and we caught some bass in the pond. So relaxing and peaceful.

We had an amazing time at the house. It was so relaxing, beautiful and comfortable. Some things that I really appreciated about this stay was a great TV and sound system for a good family movie night, a comfortable mattress, and one of the recliner chairs was so comfortable we were all fighting over who was going to sit in it. We had an issue one day with the pool ladder, Rosie was very responsive and Joe was out there as soon as possible and fixed it in no time. He also brought us sticky buns from a local farm that we devoured the same day. The views from the property were picturesque and we were lucky with the weather and got to see a couple cool thunderstorms. The kids absolutely loved the pool. The town of Hancock was a great experience in general. A couple days into our trip we had a dead battery in our car. A local mechanic from Orall’s came and jumpstarted the car and they also got us a new battery and installed it for a very reasonable price. The people in the town are just so nice. Rose and Joe - thank you for a memorable getaway.

Beautiful and Comfortable Country Setting

A relaxing stay from start to finish. All the comforts of home PLUS a wood-stove, clean pool, TVs and treats. The host was beyond helpful and very generous as well.

Nice clean house, away from neighbors. Great to just relax and hang out. Ladies loved floating in the pool. Great outdoor deck space that can be used no matter the weather.

A pleasant staying, surrounded by beautiful nature, with a well property managed by Rosie and Joe , making fell very welcoming , we really enjoy our family time together. Definitely worth another visit.

We had such a beautiful weekend getaway! The scenery was gorgeous, with plenty of trails for hiking and a great pond for fishing. It was so peaceful and the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time with family. Our dogs had an absolute blast running around and exploring, they didn’t want to leave! Rosie and Joe were awesome hosts, so kind and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything about the trip was relaxing, refreshing, and exactly what we needed. Can’t wait to come back!

Idyllic spot

The cottage was comfortable and well outfitted. “Uncle Joe” is a very generous host and made our stay special. Great fishing, swimming and bird watching in this bucollic spot. The kids had a ball and we loved the fire pit at night for campfire s’mores.

Very cousy

The place was beautiful and full of nature. It has a very nice and enjoyable pool, a grill and it’s very close to town. The experience with friends over the weekend was very fun and the owners were very kind and on top of things when we needed anything!

Wonderful getaway

Love the area! The house was really good for four adults and a dog. Great property. Ping pong added plus, as was the wood burning stove. Joe was very responsive to our requests.

Perfect stay

My fiancé and I were looking to get away from the city and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. It was the perfect cozy cottage to unwind and enjoy a beautiful snowfall. The pups had a blast in the snow. I will definitely be back to experience a summer getaway. Rosie’s communication was great and she was ten steps ahead of everything needed for snowstorm.

Peaceful

Cozy cabin with amazing views! My sisters and I had a wonderful time hanging out around the pool and pond. In the evenings we would cook out and play cards. Very peaceful and relaxing!! The owner Joe was a great host! Definitely would rent again!!

Quiet, secluded, home away from home

Exactly what my family needed, clean, quiet, fun and exciting property to explore. House had everything we needed and movie selection was a hit with the kids. So much wildlife to appreciate, deck sitting for relaxing, big screens for vedging out. Had a great time and owners were very responsive and courteous. Stay with confidence, we’d go back 100%.

Perfection

Came to pick up our daughter from camp! It was our first time. It was truly an amazing space. Everything was a pictured and we explored the incredible grounds and were created with fresh pies and treats! None of us wanted to leave and we can’t wait to make it back!

A magical place

We had such an amazing time .. Joe goes above and beyond! There is something very special about this place .. the vibe is amazing .. the pool was used everyday we were there .. the kitchen is very well equipped .. the fire pit by the pond was very nice .. the decks are amazing .. we really enjoyed feeding the birds and watching them .. we sat outside on the deck every night watching the fireflies and enjoying the most peaceful surroundings .. we will definitely be back!
