We are a couple with a dog and the cabin was the perfect size for us. The host went the extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great place to stay and to use as a home base for exploring the ADKs outdoors.
The camp was immaculate. The views are great and the fishing was successful. The owner should know there is a critter taking up residence in one of the walls.
The house was fabulous with being so close to LakeClear outlet. The dock was wonderful. The grill and blackstone was great. The kitchen could use a light above the sink and should have bigger cooking sauce pots for the 2 burner electric plates. I would definitely rent this house again.Tim & Barb F.
The cabin is charming and the screened in porch is heavenly! We arrived a little early (with permission) and went kayaking until the agreed upon arrival time. As we were preparing to kayak we met Tanya who cleans the place between visits. She was lovely and full of good information about kayaking in the area. A couple of things to be aware if your primary reason for the visit is kayaking, it’s about a 40 to 45 minute paddle to get to Lake Clear, but the inlet area itself is beautiful. Also, because the dock is a couple of feet above the water surface, it’s safer to enter your kayak from the shore.
Cabin was very clean and included everything to make your stay comfortable. Good fishing off the peer, kayaking and golf available nearby. Beautiful setting during the Fall!
Cabin small but right on the water, with a wonderful screened in porch, filled with comfy furniture. Canoeing from the cabin was good. Bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed.
We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. The views were beautiful and the fishing was great. The cabin itself was perfect for us. We will be back soon.
This was our second stay here. And it was better than the first time! We stayed for a full week this time and it was relaxing. Excellent fishing and swimming from the d
This is the second time we have stayed there. We love it. The cabin has everything you would need to a nice getaway. It is a very quiet and peaceful place. Look forward to coming back soon.
Just returned from our third time renting. We already cant wait for next year. The cabin was spotless as usual. We always enjoy coffee on the dock in the mornings. We had breakfast at CAVU cafe one morning. Had dinner at Charlie's 2x recommend both highly
This cabin sits right on the outlet, and is less than a mile from the ADK bike trail. As paddlers and pedalers, this location was ideal. The trade off is distance from town (Saranac Lake) and the lack of a washer/dryer and a traditional oven/stove top. The quiet at night was lovely.
This sweet little cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved the seclusion but also not far from things to do off property (highly recommend the trails at Paul Smiths VIC). The host has provided everything down to the detail. We enjoyed the canoe and the dock, but especially the screened in back porch for all of our relaxing time.
