Loved this place! A lot of love went into building this home. Had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. The best part was sitting on the back upper deck and drinking our morning coffee while listening to the leaves falling and the Yadkin River flowing by. Access was easy on the gravel road. Wi-Fi worked nicely. Plenty of wineries to explore. A great way to unwind.

This is a lovely cabin overlooking the yadkin River. The view from the upper back porch is amazing. It was very comfortable and safe. Only issue we had was after 3 days of driving back and forth on the gravel road, both cars showed warnings of low tire pressure. It was an easy fix to add some air, no tires were damaged. Overall, we loved the peace and quiet and closeness with nature that this place provided.

Beautiful cabin right on the river. Our boys caught catfish and bass. We found the property to be quiet, and we enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature around. The cabin is very well taken care of, as the attentive owner lives nearby on the property. Could have used some dishwasher detergent and new sponges, but otherwise we had everything we needed.

Absolutely wonderful cabin and exceeded our expectations. Communication with the Property Manager was excellent. He’s done a wonderful job on this cabin and it was perfect for a weekend getaway.

Quiet and Beautiful is the best way to describe this house. We enjoyed our stay! I would highly recommend this house for a quiet retreat, and close to Vineyards and Mount Airy.

Perfect for a weekend getaway by the river. The property was nicely maintained and very inviting. The river was up a couple of feet but I still managed to catch a catfish! Will be staying here again!

We had the most wonderful stay at the Pug Cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the views—they’re even more beautiful in person and made the entire weekend feel extra special.The cabin itself was spotless and incredibly well thought out. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need (and then some!), which made it so easy to settle in and just relax. You can really tell the hosts put care into every detail.What we loved most was how peaceful and private it felt. It was the perfect escape. We came up to celebrate an early birthday, spent our days exploring nearby wineries, and our evenings grilling out and unwinding back at the cabin. Honestly, those quiet evenings with the view were the highlight of the trip.If you’re looking for a cozy, scenic getaway where you can truly disconnect and recharge, this is it. Didn't want to leave and hope to go back soon!

The cabin was beautiful. Everything about it was great. Comfortable, had everything we need. Enjoyed the back deck overlooking the river and relaxed in the hot tub. Kayaks available for rent. Lots of places to explore.

We had an amazing time! This place was very secluded, it was perfect for a stress free escape. The owner is close by and very responsive. We will definitely be planning another trip to this house. Just don’t forget shampoo and conditioner!
