Easy walk to restaurants, bars and shops and the bus stop is less than 2 blocks away. House was nice and furnished with plenty of the basic things used daily. Would definitely recommend!
Great place in any season!
What a great place. Very clean and welcoming and we felt at home right away. Home is very well kept and had everything we needed to prepare meals and sleep comfortably. Right in town and easy walk to many restaurants and shops. "Secret Stash" is always a winner by the way.
Host communication has been excellent and very timely. The property manager found an item that we left behind and we were contacted immediately and arrangements were made to get it back to us.
This was our first trip during the winter so didn't know what to expect regarding location. Shuttle picks up 2 blocks away and straight to the resort with no additional stops. We missed the snow by a day but still had a wonderful time.
Mike and Laura are great hosts.

Great stay in Crested Butte!
Awesome house, and Laura was great! Location is awesome, 2 blocks from mountain shuttle and walking distance to the restaurants. The only thing I’ll say (and not a deal breaker for us) is that the bedrooms are on the bottom floor, and living room/kitchen are second floor. You can hear everything from upstairs in the bedrooms. So if you have kids make sure you bring a sound machine if they are light sleepers.
Great location, great place
This space was a wonderful home base to spend the holidays with my family. It is a short walk to the free shuttle (2 blocks) which takes you directly to the ski resort. It was also very easy to walk to the main downtown area (Elk Ave) and grocery store. The house is comfortable and the hosts were so responsive to our questions. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and recommend this place to anyone traveling to Crested Butte.
Our dog loved it!
This little house was perfect! It had everything we needed, plenty of space for our group and was in the best location! The owners were very easy to work with and were more than happy to accommodate us when we decided to bring our dog last minute! He loved their cool tile floors, their yard and how close we were to the rec path - perfect for early morning walks!
Thank you Ellie! So glad you enjoyed your stay in beautiful CB!

Winter: our place is 2 blocks from the last free shuttle stop before the ski area, max 10 min ride to lifts. So you're the last on, and the first off.

Mike and Laura Mouw purchased this Townhome in 2004
Why Mike and Laura Mouw chose Crested Butte
Mike started coming to CB in 1992 to ski, and enjoyed it so much he kept coming back. When we started looking at real estate, it soon became clear that the place to be was in town (vs. up in Mt CB) close to restaurants, shopping, parks, and summer festivities. Although there's no denying that ski-in, ski-out is convenient in the winter, being in town is more convenient overall. The 10-minute bus ride to the slopes is so short as to be inconsequential. And most people come down into town from Mt. CB to eat at night...so you can choose to ride the bus up in the morning to ski, or choose to ride it down at night to eat out/ shop.
What makes this Townhome unique
Conveniently located in town, just two blocks from the free shuttle that takes you on the short ride to the ski area, this duplex condo is an easy five to ten minute walk from Elk Avenue restaurants and shopping. It's four blocks from the town park/playscape where outdoor concerts are held. The Purple Mountain Lodge B&B is right next door if extra beds are needed. Kid-Friendly: Our kids loved it, and yours will too! It's 1/2 block from a brand new modern playscape with climbing boulder, and 1/2 mile from a BMX park.
