About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 7-9)

Look no further, this really is the ULTIMATE cabin for your summer or winter vacation! In November 2010, we purchased this lovely, smoke-free, cabin (built June 2010) in beautiful Island Park, Idaho. It's just a 30 minute drive to Yellowstone National Park, but that's only the beginning.

Located in the center of the Island Park area you have access to fishing, wildlife viewing, and snowmobiling/four wheeling right from the front door. We have plenty of off street parking for your toys.

We have really gone above and beyond and have spared no expense to make our cabin an exceptional place to stay while offering an incredible value for your money!

Our cabin has a fully stocked kitchen with convenient appliances, including a full size washer & dryer inside the unit. You can relax with our gas stove, roomy bathrooms and attractive furnishings. Smoking is not allowed.

We have a king-sized bed in the master bedroom with an extra comfy pillow top mattress, a queen-sized bed in the upstairs bedroom, and two more queens and a twin in the loft. There is also a pullout couch in the living room downstairs. The dining room table is large and can accommodate up to 9. There is a fully equipped bathroom downstairs with a vanity & sink and a very roomy bathroom upstairs with a shower.

The cabin is stocked with everything that will make your stay comfortable and fun! We have a total of 2 TVs with DVD players (a 46' flat screen in the living room, and a smaller t.v. in the upstairs 'kids corner'.) We also provide a selection of movies for the whole family. The summer of 2012 we added Direct t.v. and internet service. Cell phone coverage is available.

Your kids will love the books, board games and toys that we provide. After a long day of having fun, you are welcome to use the gas grill on our patio, and make S'mores, sing campfires songs, and tell ghost stories around the fire pit.

We look forward to welcoming you!

About Regina Eliason

My husband and I are from Utah. We have one daughter and an English Bulldog. I am a stay at home mom who enjoys photography, knitting, and digital scrapbooking.

Regina Eliason purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Regina Eliason chose Idaho

Our family loves to snowmobile, fish, ride 4 wheelers, hike, and camp. We also LOVE Yellowstone. After our third trip in one summer to the area, we decided we should buy a cabin so we can have a comfy place to stay each and every time we visit Island Park.

What makes this cabin unique

Our cabin was built in 2010, with new furnishings and appliances throughout. It has a fully stocked kitchen, complete with dishwasher, microwave and coffee pot. Full size washer and dryer are on site and ready to use. TV and DVD player in the living room, and also in the loft for the little ones. A DVD library, bean bag chairs, toys, and games, even a high chair and pack-n-play style crib. Doorstep access to MILES of trails (some say 400 miles, some say 600 miles... when we ride them ALL, we'll let you know for sure.) Trails are groomed for snowmobiling in winter, and accessible to four wheeling in summer. Many cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking trails are nearby. Over 50 awesome fishing holes, and rivers for the fisherman. Wildlife, such as swans, moose, deer, and other critters abound. Only 30 minutes from Yellowstone National Park for even more wildlife viewing. Smoking is not allowed.

This really is the ULTIMATE cabin rental!

Very enjoyable and a perfect place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

This was our first visit to Island Park. We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend. It was snowing when we arrived Wednesday, about 6:00 pm. We found this cabin very clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, and the beds were all very comfortable. Since it was cold and snowing we especially enjoyed the fire in the stove in the living room. The cabin was stocked very well with dishes and cooking utensils, however I took my Roaster Oven to cook the Turkey, so the oven would be available for other food items. We took our Rhino ATV and a 4-wheeler and enjoyed

exploring the area. We considered going to Yellowstone, but found out the roads in the Park were closed. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us, it was delightful. Frank and Vicky Dickson

Cute, Comfortable and Clean

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was a very comfortable, cozy place to come back to after a long day on the road visiting Yellowstone Park. It was great to take our time in the mornings having coffee and breakfast at our leisure. Forest haven was well stocked and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was great to find a place that accepteted our pets and it worked for all of us, the only suggestion would be to have a fenced in area to allow the pets to run loose for a while after being cooped up in the truck all day. We loved our stay, thanks for sharing with us.

Excellent and comfortable cabin with lots of amenities

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was very clean and in great shape. It had all of the listed amenities in working order. Owner is quick to respond to any questions. A highlight on the last morning was a moose and her calf hanging out on the front lawn for a couple of hours. We'd certainly be willing to recommend this cabin and may go back again!

Boondock's Restaurant nearby is also a great place to eat! But check their hours to be sure when they're open...

Great Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience with a vacation rental. We loved staying at this cabin. The owner was responsive and getting booked was very easy. The cabin is clean, well maintained, and well stocked. We had everything that we needed for an enjoyable stay. We love the Island Park area and would definitely stay here again. In our group we had 6 adults (3 Couples) and 2 Kids, we had plenty of room for all of us.

This cabin was truly a "Haven" for us weary travelers after 8 days on the road, living out of our suitcases. Very clean and cozy. Couldn't believe their fireplace/stove heated the whole cabin. We started with temps in the high 80's and our last day in YNP we had temps in the 30's with ice pellets, snow and slush. We also had a surprise fire drill at 3 am one morning...boy, that sure made our eyes pop open real fast. We had a fast moving thunderstorm move thru the area and with every flash of lightning, the smoke detectors went off. At least we knew they worked. Plenty of space, beds and dishes to feed a group. We fixed all our meals at the cabin. It was great to have home cooked meals. Spent 2 full days in the park, took a couple days to just relax. We even were blessed with a sighting of the resident moose just down the road from the cabin. We never did see one in YNP. When we called to say we were arriving in the area a day early, owner was very accommodating and made the cabin available to us. We really appreciated that. We would highly recommend this property.
