Overview

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 7-9)

Look no further, this really is the ULTIMATE cabin for your summer or winter vacation! In November 2010, we purchased this lovely, smoke-free, cabin (built June 2010) in beautiful Island Park, Idaho. It's just a 30 minute drive to Yellowstone National Park, but that's only the beginning.

Located in the center of the Island Park area you have access to fishing, wildlife viewing, and snowmobiling/four wheeling right from the front door. We have plenty of off street parking for your toys.

We have really gone above and beyond and have spared no expense to make our cabin an exceptional place to stay while offering an incredible value for your money!

Our cabin has a fully stocked kitchen with convenient appliances, including a full size washer & dryer inside the unit. You can relax with our gas stove, roomy bathrooms and attractive furnishings. Smoking is not allowed.

We have a king-sized bed in the master bedroom with an extra comfy pillow top mattress, a queen-sized bed in the upstairs bedroom, and two more queens and a twin in the loft. There is also a pullout couch in the living room downstairs. The dining room table is large and can accommodate up to 9. There is a "full" bathroom downstairs and a very roomy "3/4" bathroom upstairs with a shower, but no tub.

The cabin is stocked with everything that will make your stay comfortable and fun! We have a total of 2 TVs with DVD players (a 46' flat screen in the living room, and a smaller t.v. in the upstairs 'kids corner'.) We also provide a selection of movies for the whole family. The summer of 2012 we added Direct t.v. and internet service. Cell phone coverage is available.

Your kids will love the books, board games and toys that we provide. After a long day of having fun, you are welcome to use the gas grill on our patio, and make S'mores, sing campfires songs, and tell ghost stories around the fire pit.

We look forward to welcoming you!

About Regina Eliason

My husband and I are from Utah. We have one daughter and an English Bulldog. I am a stay at home mom who enjoys photography, knitting, and digital scrapbooking.

Regina Eliason purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Regina Eliason chose Idaho

Our family loves to snowmobile, fish, ride 4 wheelers, hike, and camp. We also LOVE Yellowstone. After our third trip in one summer to the area, we decided we should buy a cabin so we can have a comfy place to stay each and every time we visit Island Park.

What makes this cabin unique

Our cabin was built in 2010, with new furnishings and appliances throughout. It has a fully stocked kitchen, complete with dishwasher, microwave and coffee pot. Full size washer and dryer are on site and ready to use. TV and DVD player in the living room, and also in the loft for the little ones. A DVD library, bean bag chairs, toys, and games, even a high chair and pack-n-play style crib. Doorstep access to MILES of trails (some say 400 miles, some say 600 miles... when we ride them ALL, we'll let you know for sure.) Trails are groomed for snowmobiling in winter, and accessible to four wheeling in summer. Many cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking trails are nearby. Over 50 awesome fishing holes, and rivers for the fisherman. Wildlife, such as swans, moose, deer, and other critters abound. Only 30 minutes from Yellowstone National Park for even more wildlife viewing. Smoking is not allowed.

This really is the ULTIMATE cabin rental!

Gorgeous! Definitely the best spot in town!

I thought I was pretty organized, but of course I still missed bringing some basics. The owners here anticipated the little things I forgot and saved us untold trips to the store. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The cabin is beautifully furnished and made the stay even that much more enchanting!

House was comfortable for 4 adults while snowmobiling. The propane fireplace was great.

Easy access in January/February while snowmobiling. Bonus was that we were close to our favorite restaurant, Boondocks. It was great to see Pat and Nancy. The only upgrade I would do is to provide a 4 drawer dresser in the bedroom on the main floor. Not that convenient to stack clothes on the floor. Otherwise the cabin was cozy.

Very nice and cozy cabin

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful quaint little cabin. It met all of our expectations and the owners left very clear instructions on how to use and run their cabin. They also had a very useful book of helpful information from where to eat and other activities available. It was a very nice place to stay.

One helpful word of advice would be to not take a enclosed four place trailer down the road because there is no possible way to drive in or back into the property due to the snow packed corners. We had a very difficult time even turning around. Thankfully the neighbor had a large driveway where we were able to turn around and drive back out. Park your trailer at the snowmobile parking lot before Boondocks. Save yourself the time and pain.

Overall a wonderful and fun place to stay with our family.

A Beautiful Cabin, perfect place to stay in Winter

  • 5 of 5

I booked the apartment and Regina approved almost immediately. This is our first trip to Yellowstone and found the location of the cabin very convenient. We reached the cabin on a Friday night after a long drive and were able to find and move into the cabin without any hassle. Thanks to the detailed instructions Regina had sent us beforehand. It was Winter and the area was covered in snow. But the cabin was warm and the fire-stove in the living room is awesome. The interiors were beautiful, the beds were cozy, the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and bathrooms with towels. We had a wonderful time at the cabin and would definitely recommend it to other travelers visiting Yellowstone. Thank you to Regina and family for sharing the cabin with us.
