Cozy location on the bluffs of the Mississippi. Quiet with beautiful fall colors in view the entire week. TV choice was minimal. No games or cards available...good thing we brought our own :) We are in our 80s...the stairway was a bit dark to negotiate in the night even with the cabin lighting. We happened to bring LED candles which we set on the stairs and they were of great help to us. We really enjoyed our time there and would like to stay again.

Thank you for your feedback, Fred. For safety concerns of cracking chipping etc we invested in plastic dish wear. As we also have families with kids that visit the cabin.

Great place to kick back and unwind. The cabin was clean, and Michael was a great host, he was quick to respond to any questions we had. The view was absolutely amazing, and we were able to enjoy some wild life, deer, grouse and even a wood chuck! Would definitely recommend the cabin for a great get away.

Wonderful Place

This is a terrific place to stay. We loved being close to the river to boat and the place itself is in a very peaceful location. A previous reviewer mentioned that a bar got in and there was a smell, but we didn’t experience that over our 2 nights. Just a terrific place to stay with a great host! We’d definitely come back.
