Killington Big House: Largest Vacation Rental in Killington

Killington Big House is a large luxury vacation rental house renovated and fully upgraded, located in Killington, Vermont, that can accommodate family get-togethers, corporate retreats or large groups of up to 30 persons. We have a site as well for the house so you can reach out to us! I am always willing to deal.

With a total of 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, big groups can “Come Hang Together” in a large, well-appointed vacation rental house with comfortable space and located in a quiet and peaceful setting of the Green Mountains.

There are two sections of the house that are rented together. First, the Main Lodge consists of 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, a Great Room with fire place, dining area for 20 and fully equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, 6 burner stove and two ovens. Second, the attached Timber Chalet has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms as well as a large well-appointed kitchen with 8 burner professional range, two ovens, a 10 person dining room and living area. The Basement of the Main Lodge has a gym, bar, game room and ski storage. Also included in the Basement are two more bathrooms, one with two additional showers and washer/dryer.

A home automation system from Elan has been added to not only control the lighting and heating system remotely, but also to provide home entertainment options with IPod Dock, Sirius Satellite Radio, and BluRay DVD players. Speakers are located on the first floor, spa deck and basement.

The large front deck (with wheelchair access) and side spa deck provide ample opportunities to enjoy the natural landscape, peacefully reflect and accommodate outdoor entertaining.

The house also has a luxurious 8 person Hot Springs Grandee hot-tub overlooking a nearby stream-fed, clear blue pond nestled within the Green Mountains.

A second Hot Springs Grandee 4 person hot-tub was added for the Timber Chalet guests.

We had an awesome stay at the Killington Big House. The space is exactly as advertised—huge, clean, and perfect for a group trip. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas to hang together.The mountain views were a major highlight, especially in the morning and at sunset. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—easy access to the slopes and everything around Killington, which made getting to and from skiing seamless.The house itself was well-maintained and stocked with the essentials, and the host was responsive and easy to work with throughout the stay.If I had one minor note, it would be [insert small critique if you want—e.g., parking, check-in timing, etc.], but overall it didn’t take away from the experience.Would absolutely recommend for large groups looking for a fun, comfortable ski weekend spot. Our stay at Killington Big House (KBH) was absolutely incredible! The KBH property management team was super responsiveness, accommodating, and informative. Especially as we were traveling during a winter storm and in constant communication. Our group was 22 people and the house was massive - enabling us to spread out as well as gather together in common areas. The house itself is pristine and has every amenity imaginable! Ample bedrooms and hang out space (grand room, game room, etc.). Plenty of bathrooms for any number of guests, two hot tubs, a study with every game for guests to play! The multiple parking areas was extremely useful for large groups and coordinating travel to and from the mountain. The kitchens were outstanding with enough dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. Additionally, having multiple of appliances (coffee pots, crock pots, microwaves, etc.), fridges (3), dishwashers (3), ovens, etc. made the cooking experience feel like you were in a commercial kitchen. We absolutely recommend booking KBH for large group trips who are looking to visiting the area (especially Killington) and are anxiously looking forward to returning for future stays!

If you built it, they would come. We re-built this property for large gatherings of family and friends, in a beautiful setting. Understanding that our guest's requirements may be different, we can tailor the house to meet your group's specific needs.

The Killington Big House is available to be rented as a whole (10,500 sq ft) or just the Main Lodge by itself (6,800 sq ft.)

The Main Lodge consists of 8 bedrooms (sleeps 20), 7 bathrooms, dining area for 20, large Great Room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with two dishwashers, 6-burner stove and two ovens. The basement has a long bar, game room and a gym. A home automation and sound system provide several home entertainment options. The house also has a luxurious 8 person hot tub overlooking a nearby stream-fed, clear, blue pond.

If you rent the Whole House, you will also have complete access to the Timber Chalet (attached by a foyer) which has an additional 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (sleeps 10), a large well-appointed full kitchen with a 8 burner professional range, two ovens, a 10 person dining room and comfortable living area. A second 4 person hot tub is available for the Timber Chalet guests.

The property encompasses 3 acres and it comfortably accommodates: family reunions, weddings, private parties and corporate outings. The ample shared space provides for enjoyable large group getaways.

To enhance our accommodations, Killington Big House can also provide customized services such as the arrangement of private chefs, massages, local tours as well as private party and wedding services. These services are provided exclusively by Fjeld Property Management with advance notice.

What makes this property unique

Big groups can "Come Hang Together" in a 10,500 sq. ft well appointed vacation rental house. If you enjoy the finer things in life like warm floors when you get out of the bath, or spectacular mountain views while soaking in a Hot Springs Grandee hot tub, then Killington Big House is for you. The grounds encompass three acres with babbling brook overlooking a clear blue mountain stream fed pond.
Because we do get a few weeks per year of warmer weather, Killington Big House offers air conditioning to keep everyone more comfortable. For the culinarian in the group, we offer two full state-of-the-art kitchens with professional appliances. The Main Lodge kitchen includes a Dacor 36” 6 burner duel fuel range, an additional Dacor electric oven and two dishwashers. The Timber Chalet kitchen includes a capital 48” 8 burner Capitol Culinarian stove and two gas ovens and one dishwasher. Arrangements can be made to stock the refrigerators or cater parties and breakfasts.
Specially designed to accommodate all, the house features a ramp for wheel chairs and two bedrooms on the first floor.
The Basement was specifically designed for big fun for big groups. Features include: an 8 person bar with solid timber bar tops, a complete game room with 8ft commercial air hockey, foos ball and ping pong. For our sports fans and younger guests, there is a 52” Sony TV for your viewing pleasure in the bar area.
The 1st floor Main Lodge bedroom also has its own TV. The Great Room offers a full surround sound system and BluRay/DVD player. For your listening pleasure in the 1st floor, speakers are included in the dining room, kitchen, living room and spa deck with access to a music library, Sirus Satellite radio.
