Enjoy this beautifully appointed vacation home nestled in its own private tropical paradise on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in historical Pass-A-Grille Florida!

This unique 4BR, 4BA beachfront home has something for everyone.

The home is private, in a secluded setting and extensive list of amenities makes for a relaxing get away, while the layout and décor provide the perfect setting for entertaining. And beach access, via your own private walkout, will beckon you to enjoy various summer activities on the white powdery sands of the Gulf, long walks, jogging, sunbathing, water sports, wind surfing and swimming in the warm emerald waters.

The house itself is beach-level and has 4 BR, 4BA, Covered parking for 5 cars, an outdoor hot tub, outdoor shower, movable gas grill, a large private patio surrounded by lush tropical foliage, providing a perfect combination of shade and sunlight during the day. The landscaping is highlighted at night by beautiful accent lighting, outdoor speakers, decks with lounge chairs for sunbathing and tables for outdoor dining, shaded by Sea Grape & Pepper Trees. Bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and linens are all included.

You will have access to the powdery sands of Saint Petersburg beach via a quiet, 9’ wide palm tree lined private lane with no thru traffic! Walk about and wave to our friendly neighbors, all without the buzz of busy roads.

Interior Accommodations

This is 4BR/4BA house with plenty of extras!

Three bedrooms have queen beds, the remaining bedroom has twin beds. The master has a bay window, walk out double doors to a deck, a large dressing area with an oversized Jacuzzi, double sink and walk-in closet.

A large vaulted great-room with open floor plan provides a central place in the house for all to gather with TV. A den with TV, stereo, computer desk and bar provides a casual area for reveling and relaxing.

The walls are a light sun bleached wood, with large ceiling fans. The centrally-located kitchen has granite counter tops and bar seating, with access to the BBQ grill and outdoor countertops.

For dining and entertaining there are 2 different options inside the house. The large dining room can accommodate up to 12 guests in style, or for a more intimate group dining that seats up to 6 people comfortably. There are several tables and chairs on the patio for outside dining.

The 7 sky windows and floor-to-ceiling windows and doors throughout the house provide natural lighting and views of the sapphire blue Florida skies and spectacular, picture-perfect Gulf Coast sunsets.

Beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas are provided in the unit.

Nearby Activities

Eclectic Pass-A-Grille is only a 10 minute walk south, with restaurants, snack bars, funky gift shops and pier offering chartered fishing excursions on the Gulf.

The historic Don CeSar Hotel is a 10 minute walk up the beach. This 4-star luxury hotel offers access to fine dining, and for a guest fee, use of their health club, yoga classes/pilates classes, World Class Spa and kids game rooms. Rentals of paddle boards and wave runners are available. There is parasailing and volleyball on the beach as well. The pool is available to non-guests Monday-Thursday, depending on hotel occupancy, by purchasing a day pass.

By car it's a 10 minute trip to Fort DeSoto Park and their beautiful private beaches, reported to be one of the 15 finest beaches in the world. Rollerblading, biking, picnic facilities and fishing pier available.

A 15 minute car trip to downtown St. Petersburg offers sidewalk dining at the many restaurants on Beach Ave. Museums, highlighted by the Dali museum and the Chihuly Glass Museum, will satisfy your artistic pallet, and those of your guests.

Tampa International Airport is a 25 minute ride by car or taxi: From plane to beach in less than ½ hour!

Hello, I am Brandon Dean, the property manager for this beautiful, historic, and famous beach home. The Owner's family settled here in the early 40's his Grandpa decided that It was too cold up north. 25 other family members now live here all year and the other 50 or so are snow birds from all over the USA. They get together several times a year, here and being the favorite place of all.

I want to be as transparent as possible to ensure you have a terrific experience to please know that there is a 7% Florida sales tax, 6% county tax, and 4% credit/debit card transaction fee added to all reservations.

If you are using a check there is no transaction fee and an e-check there is a $1.00 transaction fee.

Place is amazing with a caveat! However, communicating with the Property Manager is very poor!!!

This place is amazing with a few caveats! Your backyard is literally the beach which is the best part of the house. Charming place that we took care of the house as if it was our own.

HOWEVER, there were some problems. They never mentioned that there is an adjacent room above the house where possible guests can rent. We were just surprised when another car was occupying the driveway and people we don't know cross our backyard from the second floor. We didnt' know if it's safe to leave things at the backyard after that incident. We thought we have the whole house to ourselves, obviously, we didn't.

In regards to the property manager (PM), we never heard from him or even got a call to say "Welcome" or even see if we have any questions or want to know details especially when they've just charged our credit card. The PM just assumed that we are computer savvy and all correspondence will be on the VRBO/Home away site which was incomplete on the first place. We thought at first that we were scammed because the Ad didn't provide the address, only the GPS coordinates. I had to call VRBO/Home Away customer support to provide us the name and number of the PM. He provided us with the address only after I left him an e-mail. The VRBO site did not provide us with Check-in or Driving directions. It just mention "We informed the owner that you are interested on that information and will provide it shortly." I was very worried.

The day before the rental, I email the PM as a courtesy to let him know I'll be arriving early in St. Pete's. Wanted to get instructions on entering the house. Note, we only got the e-mail instructions of the door code the day before rental. Usually, from previous rentals, we get these instructions the week before to make sure we don't worry. Didn't even get the check-in time was at 4pm.

Here's the clincher. I just noticed when I came back from this trip that the PM sent out a bunch of Youtube videos of instructions of how to operate the house THE DAY OF the rental. How would you expect the customer to know all these instructions the day of the rental? He also assumed we have Youtube available while we are on vacation or on route to the house.

Even with the problems, we were happy at the end, until the PM changed his tone saying we never followed his check-in and check out instructions. That really put a kink on our vacation experience. Last time I'm dealing with this PM or any properties he is associated with

Owner's Response: In my 4 years of being a vacation rental manager renting this beautiful beach home this was the worst renter I have ever had. This property has only ever gotten 5 out of 5 stars from all prior guests, I really should not need to say more, but because he lied I will make everyone wanting to book and or return to this amazing historic and famous beach home be at ease about booking. The renter showed up at 8am to check in when he was told he could not check in until 4pm. He got in because my housekeeper was there and when he got in he wouldnt leave even though the housekeeper asked him, my assistant, and also myself asked him to come back. He also would not check out until 6pm when check out was told to him in advance it was 11am. This was Memorial Day weekend so we were very busy and his lack of respect for the rules and the staff caused major scheduling conflicts. He recieved several emails, texts, and phone calls with the address location, keyless code, wifi, and a half dozen video tutorials on directions, checking in, amenities, tour of the home, outdoor amenities, how to check out, down to where the garbage bins outside are located. He didnt follow any of them or watch them. It clearly shows on the website listing and the emails I send and that Homeaway/Vrbo emails to the guest all the information the guest will need to check in and have a great vacation. I also told him about the mother in law apartment upstairs to the north east of the property. He was well aware of that when he booked. The apartment was vacant during his stay. The person the guest saw going around to the back of the property and out the gate was my lawn care, hot tub, handymen, and assistant. He checked in at 8am, so yes, you are going to see staff on site working around the property to have it ready for a normal 4pm check in. Am I flexible on check in and check out requests? Yes, But not last minute or in this case he just arrived at 8am even though I told him the night before that he could not. Same goes for when he wouldnt check out until 6pm. Yes my staff is going to come to the house to inspect it after normal check out time. This is all common sense and normal procedures. The only vehicles that park in the large 5 vehicle carport are the guest's of the house. If any other vehicle is there its myself or my staff answering a call or request from the guest. The guest informed me after his stay this was his first time using Homeaway/Vrbo, that maybe a reason for all the problems.

Very nice, a very warm and inviting place to relax

We had nearly everything we needed in this property upon arrival. They've thought of so much that makes it a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was clean, furniture was comfortable, and there were so surprises from the description. The details that you can't normally see when you're searching...good mattresses, TV's in bedrooms, WiFi, ceiling fans, beach towels, beach chairs, well laid out space, even in bathrooms, etc, made a big difference.

Our representative did a superb job giving us the instructions we needed for turning on the electronics, using the grill, where all the supplies were, directions to get there, how to get on the wifi, how to use the hot tub....he was great!

We would definitely stay there again. Because we love to cook I found myself wishing there were more and better pots and pans, and minimizing the number of small appliances on the counter so there was more counter space, but we still cooked all the meals we wanted with ease.

Our family will go back for sure!

Large, well-maintained house on the beach

Some friends and I went to St. Pete Beach for a long weekend recently and stayed here. Brandon was quick to respond to my emails and texts and greeted us when we arrive and showed us around. It's a big house and the location is fantastic, there's a 2 minute walk over to the beach and the house has a hot tub and roof deck with amazing sunset views. Rooms were big and the house was very clean. Highly recommend.

Couldn't have been better

The property was great; better than we imagined. The grill and large dining table came in really handy when cooking and serving up the feast we brought back from our fishing trip. We will be back next year!
