Perfect place to get away with your other half for the weekend. We will be back!
Get away lodge for two!!
Amazing view, convenient location ( close to skiing resort and Asheville), comfortable ( has everything u need). It was our anniversary and me and my husband we couldn’t ask for better place to stay. And also wanted to thanks John for his hospitality!!
Great cabin and hospitality for a visit to the Waynesville, NC area.
The cabin was great, clean, and John made us feel perfectly at home. It was cold and John kept firewood there for the wood stove every day. It was a little hard to find, but well worth the trip there. The area is great, including a super day at Biltmore Estates. Thanks to John for making us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this property.
Great experience all around!
The pictures of this cabin does not do it any justice. John answered all of our questions prior to our stay. When we got there we were greeted with such a beautiful view. We had clean towels and sheets and the place was very clean as well. We were able to cook and store other grocery items we had brought with us. We ran out of fire wood on our first night and John was only a phone call away and brought us an ample amount of wood to keep the fire going in the stove. The bed was comfy and the tv a plus. Had a little trouble with WiFi signal but who needs that on a trip to the mountains anyway? Waynesville was a cute little town and everyone was very kind. Highly recommend a 4-wheel drive truck to climb the driveway, helped us with the ice as well. We will definitely be booking a stay with John again soon!
Cute and cozy
Very cute and cozy! Glad we drove the truck though with that driveway. The car would have bottomed out.
Clean, roomy, nice view. bad wifi
We mostly liked this place, it was clean, somewhat updated and roomy. Issues we had was that wifi only worked outside: not fun to try to call family or make other reservations standing outside in the freezing cold. They should not advertise wifi if it does not work inside the house or buy a repeater, they are not that expensive!
Place has a nice view and it's close to the main town, gas and food. Nice firepit, nice patio, plenty of kitchen utensils, ice maker did not work.
A new repeater would certainly help the WiFi. One has been ordered. Ice maker is odd, the button needs to be pressed for 5 seconds to turn on, and 3 seconds to turn off.
