Welcome to Lake Logan! Experience all Hocking Hills has to offer in this centrally located lakefront home. With water access and stunning water views from the hot tub, bedrooms, and dining room, you can not go wrong in this family friendly home. Gameroom-garage conversion gives plenty to do in bad weather. Home is equipped with board games, and kid-friendly gear for little ones.

Completely remodeled with 2 bedrooms on the first floor (one queen, one king) and a bunk room on the second floor with 3 twins, and an air mattress will sleep a total of 9. Extra-large dining table overlooking the water is great for meals and family game night. Hot tub on deck overlooking the water provides amazing sunset views and a place to unwind. Directly across the lake from the Marina that offers paddle boat rentals (including adorable duck, swan, and dragon boats), kayaks and pontoons. Next door to the state park for fishing and swimming. Less than 5 min from Hocking Hills State Park, Coffee, and more!

The house is cute and cozy, loved having the lake within walking distance. And it being a bit more private with it being the last house. Drive way is tricky for turn around but we got used to it. Over all it gave our family some good memories.

We had an excellent stay. Beautiful property with an incredible view and very close to the lake. You can sit in the hot tub and just stare at the lake! Location was excellent, in the sticks enough to feel secluded but not too far from anything. The host was fantastic, excellent communication and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Im fairly new to this process so my review skills probably leave a lot to be desired. I can best sum it up by saying I have nothing but positive things to say, you cant go wrong staying here!!

Lake view was great, loved the location, secluded but just a drive away from hikes and restaurants. Clean and enough room for three teens and parents. Hot tub was clean. Enough towels and paper products as well as soaps.

Great place! Highly recommend. Very clean with great views and close to all the good sites. Loved everything about it. the hot tub, the game room, the beds, the open floor plan. Would rent there again.

The house was as noted in the ad. Complete view of the river was very relaxing. My granddaughter and I were very pleased with the comfort of the beds. Response to questions were sent quickly. Very happy with this stay.

Lakeside retreat

My family came down for the long weekend and had a wonderful time. Property is so close to everything and more than enough space to spread out. Beautiful views of the lake from inside as well as from the hottub deck.

We had the best vacation. The cabin was spacious and family friendly. The lake was right across the street and the beach was less than 5 minutes away. Hocking Hill State Park was just a few minutes drive. We will definitely stay hereagain.

The host was very communicative and kind throughout our stay. We appreciated some of the upgrades that have been made but there were other areas that were lacking. The showers were dark and screamed at you when they were turned on (the showers screeched the entire time we showered), the game room isn’t really as described (broken ping pong net, smashed ping pong balls, baby toys and a small corn hole set for little kids), and the house was very hot. It’s summer so take that with a grain of salt but we tried to change the thermostat with very little luck. It was a nice home all around but a little pricey for what we received.

We would’ve been more than happy to help with the AC or replace anything broken in the game room had the guest reached out. We run a pretty large AC unit in the home and have never had any issues with it so I would venture to say this was simply a setting on the thermostat. We do set it back to 70 between each guest to conserve electricity but guests are always welcome to adjust to their comfort.

We loved it as a family. The Jacuzzi was perfect. The view was perfect. The size of the house the safety for the kids inside the house.

Wonderful house

We were very pleased with the accommodations at Lakefront in Logan. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate six adults, was clean, and came with anything we needed throughout the weekend. A suggestion to the owners - additional internal lighting and seating in the great room would be helpful.

Get away from the city

The atmosphere of where the house is located absolutely beautiful, a great view of the lake and very private. The house and the garage are large enough for nine men to be able to relax play games inside and outside. Everything that is around you is 8 minutes away with plenty of beautiful nature in between it's a fantastic getaway.

Excellent Christmas Stay!

Everything was perfect in the location, hot tub, cleanliness, and game room. My husband and I disagree on the comfort of the bed. I found it very comfortable - my husband did not. Just depends on the person.

The communication with the host was excellent- she was right on top of all my questions and answered everything right away. I think overall everything was ok. We were glad we could have our pups there - complete bonus! Also the sunrise on the lake was 10/10 gorgeous! Here were our could have been better areas - 1. There was no plate in the microwave so it was unusable. 2. The floor in the house was not very clean. 3. The house is not very well ventilated so some areas were very cool and some areas were not (especially the upstairs and one bedroom). The upstairs when we got there said it was 83 degrees while the downstairs was 67. It did get cooled down enough in the evening (76) that our kiddos were good to sleep. 4. The driveway is very steep and can be hard to maneuver in if you have a large vehicle or aren’t comfortable turning around. 5. Make sure you know the codes before you get to the house because there is no phone service there!I think just overall it probably was not worth how much we paid but we were there over the holiday weekend.

Thanks for the feedback! We have since replaced the microwave, invested in a wet/dry vac to making moping more efficient for our cleaners and added a secondary AC upstairs. We have never had any issues with cell phone reception for major carriers; ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile so it’s possible this was a fluke or a down line as this is one of our few hocking hills homes with great reception as it’s just outside of downtown. We do have a pretty steep driveway, there is also additional parking below the house.

Beautiful setting over looking lake. We were there in dead of winter with a ton of snow on the ground and it was still beautiful over looking the lake right across the street. Would be absolutely gorgeous in the fall. Drive way is a steep hill so if you are going in the winter, be sure to have a four wheel drive vehicle or you will never make it up/down the drive. Subzero degree weather and it was still very warm and cozy. Cabin was roomy and the hot tub was perfect, large enough for 6 adults to sit comfortably. Was very impressed with how clean everything was. Would recommend bringing extra pillows for sleeping. There is a Walmart within a couple of miles, nearest Planet Fitness is the Athens one (and the OU campus) which is 30 mins drive. Trailheads to several of the National parks are all within 10-30 mins. Marina to rent boats is also right there. Host was very friendly, attentive and responsive. I have no doubts that if we were unsatisfied with anything, Rachel would have had it resolved quickly. Host has several other properties in the area and we will definitely stay again at one of them while visiting our son at OU.

Disappointed

Hot tub water was extremely cloudy, I bought test strips and there was no chlorine or bromine in it. We did not use it. I was told there was a dock there I could fish from and use for my kayaks but there was no dock. The house was fine except for at night. There is hardly any lighting, it was so dark we had to use my battery lantern to play board games. There are no dressers to put your clothes in. The lake is almost impossible to fish from the bank and the amount of seaweed in the lake is staggering. Will not be coming back.

A few things I would like to address in this review. First off we not only shock the hot tub, but we leave the shock, test strips, and log accessible for guests and had you reached out at any time we would've come out and re treated or put our own eyes on the hot tub. Shock/chlorine is not intended to stay residual in a hot tub. It is meant to raise the levels over a short period of time to kill any bacteria in the water. We do not use bromine because we are on a well, we use chlorine. We have full sized closets in every bedroom, and 1 dresser. As far as the docks, we are at a state park- we can not control when they do construction on the lake. That being said, I walked around the bend after your stay and found a dock that is not being rebuilt and still very much in use. We did add floor lamps in the living room- I actually had them delivered to the next guest as she also reached out regarding the living room being dark, something I would've been more then happy to do for you as well. We work hard to make our guests happy, and I would've been more than happy to address any of the above with you that was in my control, had you reached out during your stay.
