The kind people of Sedona welcomed me with open arms and 'Cathedral Rock Casa' provided the perfect place to retire after a career as a fine art dealer in Aspen. I fell in love with this property and have cherished being it's caretaker and guardian. Now I've been guided to turn 'Cathedral Rock Casa' over to visitors and watch this special place work it's magic.
Linda Trammell purchased this house in 2000
I've always loved Upper Red Rock Loop area and the uniqueness and character of the house 'sold' me. It just felt like home, and I've had such joy adding to and renewing it over the years.
I hope you'll love the location as I do. It has a quiet and peaceful country feeling, just a short walk to Red Rock Crossing and the creek.
Great Stay! We enjoyed hiking the canyons, visiting the Museum of Northern Arizona (A must do), dining at Elote and at Dahl & Deluca, and especially a lovely take-out pizza and salad dinner on the patio under the stars. This home is wonderful!
This quiet and cozy home was the perfect place to stay for an affordable week in Sedona!
Linda's home was just perfect for a weekend get away for my mother and I. We enjoyed the beauty of Sedona and then were able to return to this perfect home to relax, catch up, and plan the next day's adventure. The location was convenient to town, and the drive to and from the property was just gorgeous. If I ever make it back to Sedona (and I very much hope I do!), I'll certainly try to book this or Linda's other property.
On the outskirts of Sedona, but within an easy and scenic drive of commercial Sedona, this casa was ideal for our hiking holiday. The friendly owner was sensitive to our privacy and yet quickly responded to any questions. Soaking in the hot tub after a strenuous hike was perfect. We recommend Cathedral Rock Casa without reservation.
Casa was quaint, roomy and well-equipped, exactly what we needed for 2 couples on a biking vacation!
I can't say enough about our experience at Cathedral Rock. The Owner, Linda, was terrific from the very beginning of the booking process. The home exceeded our expectations.
Pros: Location location location - nice quiet street easily walkable to Red Rock Crossing and views of Cathedral Rock and beyond. Easy to get to town and the drive to/from the house each time from town was a trip worth taking in and of itself. At night we would stop n the way home and absorb the vast sky filled with more stars than you could ever imagine. The house was fully stocked with everything one might need for a short or a long stay. (we stayed 7 days). I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a Sedona experience. To be fair, there were a few small "cons" but nothing I would ever allow to take away from the experience. Cons: some of the appliances need some attention so they can work better. (but everything was tip-top clean) Upstairs AC was pretty loud but growing up with "window" units didn't bother me as much as it might others. The back yard is a cute oasis that we ate breakfast in every morning, just wished we had a better view of Cathedral Rock. But the trees that " partially" blocked the view also provided well needed shade and beauty. So a fair trade.
Overall, I am glad we found and stayed at Cathedral Rock Casa and I would return again in a heart beat. Thank you.
Dear Linda, this was our first visit to Cathedral Rock Casa to celebrate my in-laws 60th anniversary and my husband's and my 11th. It is a wonderful home, so cozy and comfy, that provided us a great stay in Sedona. We felt rested and nourished and in great awe of God's wondrous beauty. We appreciated all the amenities at the house and enjoyed the great hiking trails so close by. God bless you and your family in the years to come and all who dwell at Cathedral Rock Casa. Can't wait until we can make our next trip. - May1-4, 2015
