We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on the lake in the mountains. There were so many things to do. Paddleboat, kayaks, hot tub, game room. It was great being in a home big enough to handle our family for Thanksgiving
This home and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful! So peaceful, yet with so much to do or not do! The kids loved the games and paddleboat; the adults loved relaxing - on the dock, the decks, and in the home! It was a perfect stay. Thank you!

Thanks so much Erica! So glad you and your family enjoyed our cabin! Look forward to hosting you all again soon!
My 5 kids, their spouses, and my 3 grandchildren had an excellent experience. The setting is beautiful— the view of the lake, the visits from deer, and the geese and ducks were a hit with the kids. They also got to catch their first fish from the dock , creating a great memory for everyone. The proximity to Blue Ridge and McCaysville was nice too, giving us a couple of fun outings.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The highlights were the pedal boat, canoe, coffee and wine by the fire table, soothing waterfall, dining outside by the outdoor wood burning fireplace and watching college football. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Unique spaces to hang out and explore.
We appreciate using your lovely home. great fast response. Easy to use website to navigate all household questions. Beautiful fall weather made out great stay perfect. Thanks so much.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Located in a quiet neighborhood. The property was exactly as a described on a small lake. Pictures represent the listing very well. Check in was easy. The one thing I would add to this listing is that the house is located down a very steep gravel driveway. We had a minivan full with luggage and kids and it was very tricky to get back up the hill fully loaded. It is doable but if you are visiting a a time with lots of rain or snow I would not bring a minivan

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful stay and that the home met your expectations. Thank you also for noting the steep gravel driveway—your feedback was incredibly helpful. We’re happy to share that the driveway has since been improved, and we think you’ll love the update!
We’d love to host you again anytime and hope to welcome you back soon!
We rented the cabin for 12 of us however, 5 family members had to cancel so 7 of us stayed, plus 3 small dogs. Great grass area for pups! Due to cold weather we only used hot tub and outdoor fireplace, but the three decks had great views and outdoor furniture! We did use the Viking outdoor grill. Would be an awesome place for summer use. Only negative is all the stairs down to water (we had two grandparents) and the road getting in is very steep!! Kitchen well stocked, appliances high end. Christmas decorations wonderful addition! Game room great! All fans lights, tvs on remote controls so challenging to find which one went to what, as well as light switches! There are tv’s in every room. Second bedroom main level has to share shower with master bedroom. We used the living room gas fireplace, loved it but second time it wouldn’t start, so agent needs to know that. We rent a lot of places between beach and mountain properties for family gatherings and found this one to be one of the better! We would definitely rent this cabin again if everyone in our group would be able to do the stairs!
Thirteenth year of family vacationing together! Grands, children, spouses! 12 of us! A great house and lake for paddling, fishing, swimming, relaxing by the fire, gathering on the porch! The guide book was very helpful for planning tubing, white water rafting, shopping, eating. The owner was very responsive. Just happen to catch the hot air balloon festival in Helen, GA. A great week with the fam!!!
Very beautiful, clean and well appointed house. Plenty of room, all of the essentials you could ask for, very well decorated, cozy and comfortable. Stayed here for 3 nights in July with my three children, ages 10 to 15. Everyone had a great time...lake is small but beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the kayaks and the friendly geese and ducks that visited the dock every day. Mornings and evenings were stunning and weather cooperated during our stay.Comfortable beds and furnishings...A/C worked perfectly in the hot July weather. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy...even seemed to have a light breeze every day which was appreciated.Game room was nice and had a good variety of options. We tried fishing but no such luck...but this is more of a me problem as I never have lucky anywhere I go :) Although you can definitely see the fish and even a turtle a time or two.Communication with the owners was perfect and prompt. Check-in and check-out were super simple. Road in can be a little daunting at first but is worth it.Overall a very beautiful and enjoyable property that I highly recommend to get away from the fast pace life and be able to unwind and relax in a very peaceful setting!
First this place is for everyone. If you are a photographer this is the place to go. They thought about every position of the house and your view. where ever you sit there is something that they have done to the property or just an amazing view to appreciate. An idea don't get family pictures done. Stay here and take your pictures.
First you pull up to a gate which starts a view that is breathtaking with the leaves falling with color and the stone wall also lining the driveway you almost can't continue you can't help but pause and appreciate it. There are three levels of balcony and no matter where you sit there is a view of waterfalls made my the owners, sitting areas, the lake and pathways that look like they are filled with magic from a fairytale book.
We took wonderful pictures and videos, no special effects needed the leaves falling in the background and color along with the rustic look of the owners detailing was phenomenal. We had kids with us from 3-11. And not one time did they ask for devices or games. There is a game room attached to the kids room, boating, everything there for your children's imagination. Not only did I get to see them play but I was able to get down time for myself without them stating they were bored. I did not have to contact anyone for information everything is there for you and in the right place. perfect location not far from an apple orchard or the famous train ride for the family. I could go on forever! Stay here!
Very nice place. Nice dock for fishing. Plenty of deck space outside for lounging. Only negative was the gravel road.
