Our Nature Retreat in Seabrook Island's coveted Creek Watch Villas boasts a spectacular view of a tidal marsh, with osprey, green heron, blue heron, king fishers and deer regularly making an appearance. Seabrook has more species of birds than any other area in South Carolina. One can access the marshes easily from the boat landing (kayaks and canoes are welcome!). There is a crabbing dock on premises as well for a unique catch-and-eat dining experience. Families of all ages will enjoy bike rides on the beach, daily dolphin sightings just feet from the shoreline, fishing and crabbing in the ocean, lagoons and marshes and unique seashell collecting.
This exclusive gated community also offers a shared pool just steps away from your villa, a full-sized equestrian center that provides both trail and beach rides and a nearby marina for boat rentals. Affordable and luxurious, this retreat has something for everyone!
Seabrook Island is a private resort located 23 miles south of famous (historic) Charleston. Seabrook’s 2200 acres of maritime forest provide peaceful seclusion and wondrous nature viewing, including over 80 species of birds, varied wildlife and endless majestic oaks.
The Island’s two and a half miles of pristine beaches are uncrowded and easily accessible, with boardwalk paths and ample parking. The islands 25 mile speed limit and rental services provide a safe, fun biking, rollerblading and fitness experience.
The equestrian center offers everything from pony rides to advanced trail rides to the beach. Nature cruises, kayaking, boat rentals and dolphins tours are available at the adjacent Bohicket Marina, which also has several restaurant selections.
There is a medical facility and bank, as well as a wide range of exclusive shopping, at Fresh Fields Village less than a mile from the gate. All of these activities and peaceful seclusion make it hard to leave. No Smoking, Please!

Barry and Lisa are locals to the Charleston area and currently live on Seabrook. This villa was our retreat with our children to enjoy the beach and nature. We loved it so much we bought a house and have moved out her full time!
Barry purchased this Villa in 2003
Why Barry chose Seabrook Island
We purchased this villa because Seabrook Island exemplifies the true treasures of the Lowcountry and has a very green, natural ethic. It is also located near the center of the island with easy access to all areas. We love the island and we are sure you will, too.
What makes this Villa unique
We love the secluded beach and easy bike rides around the island. Our favorite activities are kayaking up Cap'n Sam's Creek to the ocean and watching the dolphins at Kiawah River inlet.

Not what we expected
One of the main reasons we chose this place over a place in Folly Beach was because of the pool. It was either a beach front home with a lot of busy activity or a quiet place near the beach with a pool. My kids chose the pool. They were very disappointed when we arrived and the pool was not in operation and we were quite a ways from the beach. Had this been disclosed to me we would have stayed in a different location. The house itself was very nice, could have been cleaned a little better but overall nice. The towels in the master bath were dirty but there were clean in the closet. Driving from MI we tried to bring as little extras as we could so We didn’t bring any boogie boards or sand toys as the description included having these things which they did not. We were also not allowed onto Kiawah Island to the nature reserve as they aren’t allowing the public in anymore. All in all we made the best of it and had a nice family vacation. Just did a lot more traveling during our stay than expected. It’s a very nice quiet area and we enjoyed sitting out on the screened porch watching the marsh rise and fall with the tide.
I am sorry that you didn't have access to the pool at Creekwatch, the construction has lasted longer than the property managers expected. It is scheduled to be done this week. However, you had access to the two pools at the Lake House entire time you were staying with us. The passes were sitting on the counter by the front door, as explained in the information. As for Kiawah - that is news to us. We didn't know about any restrictions. The sand toys and other beach items are located in the fenced in area out front.
I really wish you had called me about any and all of your issues. I would have addressed them immediately and helped you to find things you were looking for. My phone number is in the information you were given. I can't ensure you are satisfied if I don't know you are unhappy. There is no excuse for the towels. I will call you privately to work out some compensation. I do hope you will return.
A lovely and quiet place to relax!
Thanks to Barry and family for sharing their Seabrook Island villa with us Jan - Mar 2018. A clean and bright unit, well appointed with everything needed to cook and live comfortably. No noise, commotion, or traffic. Just dog walkers, bicycles, and retirees...
The property was exactly as shown in thr pictures. We had a nice stay and would stay again.
Great Little Place
Great views off the back deck, Very comfortable and a great location esp. if your there to kayak - fish.
The unit was immaculate and very well-stocked , The only heads up is if you have small children which we did not, there is a spiral staircase which I'd be difficult with little ones to use
Beautiful and everything you need
The owner was very accommodating and able to answer any questions I had. The view of the marsh was beautiful.
