The AREA:

Other Things To Note:
Once you enter the gate at Alarka Highlands, it will take you approximately 10 -15 minutes to reach the cabin as you climb higher in elevation. The main road into the community, while paved the majority of the way, is steep and curvy. About halfway into the subdivision, the main road turns into gravel. About the host
Your host
Mike and Michelle's first vacation trip after getting married in their home state of Louisiana was to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. The cool rushing streams, beauty of the many waterfalls, and crisp morning air kept bringing us back to the Southern Mountains. Although we lived in Montana for 10 years, the Southern Mountains has been our home for many years now and it's where we raised our three children. Every time we leave the work week behind and head out to the mountains, we feel the stress melt away.
Our Mission We have always loved hospitality and creating special memories for friends and family. We strive to do that for each of our guests. We want to create a place that is warm and inviting where you can relax, have home cooked meals together and enjoy being with family. The mountains bring a sense of calm and rejuvenation, as well as adventure. Our goal is for you to obtain all of that - and more!
