This modern two-bedroom suite is perfect for couples, families (up to 6), or business travelers seeking a serene retreat. Pet-friendly, safe, and close to the Tacoma Dome, Point Defiance, Ruston Way, and top restaurants — everything for an stress-free getaway awaits.

Note: This elegant and cozy half-basement suite is part of our home, where only a husband-and-wife household resides upstairs. With its own private entrance and fully self-contained layout, the space is designed to offer both comfort and a sense of complete privacy.

Wow... When they say this is a hidden gem, they aren't lying!! The view is amazing and there are so many creature comforts available. The location is perfect for a day in Seattle and we even spent a day driving to the coast because it was just 2 hours away. The beds were comfy and the couch... we all LOVED the couch! The hosts were so sweet and if I am ever back in the area I will 100% be checking their availability first! Thank you!!

This was an amazing spot to stay with our cats while we moved cross-country! We were all so stressed out but their lovely hospitality made us feel at home. It was so incredibly clean and was arranged really thoughtfully--we could find everything, including things we hadn't thought to bring. They worked with us on arrival time since we really didn't want to keep our stressed out cats in the car any longer than necessary. When we first arrived the internet was sort of spotty but we messaged them, they reset the router, and it worked well enough for us to have video meetings streaming TV. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone in the area.

This place has a beautiful view of the water in a peaceful neighborhood. The hosts were responsive, and gracious when we needed help. Exceedingly positive vacation experience. Would stay again!

Ocean View Sanctuary is a rare find - clean, attractive, very comfortable and a breathtaking view of the sound. the hosts are very attentive and easy to work with. would happily stay here again.

Great stay

We had a great stay. It was central located for everything we had planned for our weekend. Check in was easy with a late arrival. The bed was comfortable and it was stocked with everything you need! We would stay again next time we return to the area!

Beautiful Place

We came in for a Firefighter test at Browns Point Fire Station. Each room had desk for study area abd amazing views. Great restaurant, Browns Point Diner, just up the street.

Holiday Girls Getaway

This was perfect for our small Thanksgiving celebration. The kitchen is well stocked, and the living room is ideal for relaxing with an amazing water view. The owner was incredibly responsive and kind, and we appreciated that they went the extra step for us. We loved this spot and would highly recommend it!

Lovely View

This is a very cute two bedroom apartment on the first floor of the owner’s house. It has a private patio overlooking the Bay with a beautiful quiet view which I enjoyed immensely. It is perfect for a short getaway where you will be spending your days away from the apartment. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I was there for an extended stay, and it wasn’t as ideal for that as there is very little storage for food in the small kitchen and there is no TV in the living room I would highly recommend it to tourists on short getaways.

Great if you like staying in someone’s basement.

We booked this stay so we could come and visit our son who’s in the Air Force at McCord. Our understanding of Verbo properties is that you get the entire property. This accommodation was a daylight walk out basement where the owners lived upstairs and we could frequently hear them moving around as they got ready for work and in the evening as we were settling down, we could hear them walking around. I was disappointed that this property was surrounded by lovely houses, and other properties that were nicely maintained, weed free, and this one was not acceptable in that regard.

We stayed here while in the area for a Toronto Blue Jays V. Mariners game. This was an absolute gem of a place to relax and enjoy time together as a family. The hosts were very responsive and wonderful to interact with. The view of Puget Sound was amazing from dusk to dawn, and even more spectacular with a panoramic view of the fireworks on the 4th of July. The kitchen had what we needed to cook our meals during our stay. The place was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area!
