This was an amazing stay! We all loved the house and decorations. Mothman was everywhere and the beds/furniture were comfy. Mothman movies/documentaries were also supplied to watch. The location of the house was perfect as well an old bridge right next to it was very interesting, a large front porch, and it was fun to watch the fog roll through the town at night from the porch swing. Within walking distance from all things to sight see, definitely visit all the shops you can when in the area. We definitely will be returning to this house in the future!

The photos on VRBO radically undersell this property! The owners have done an amazing and adorable job decorating, making the whole property feel cozy, fun, and super clean. The location im Historic Point Pleasant was incredibly convenient and we had a great time! We can't wait to stay again. 10/10, no notes.

The home is just blocks from downtown and walking is easy. It is well furnished, all beds were very comfortable, and a GREAT front porch to sit on. It has a bath and half and the bathroom was excellent with a stand alone shower and a claw foot bath tub as well. Parking was easy and the kitchen area is very nice. It has a poster with the interesting accounts of the home. Pictures and posts of old signs and everything Mothman was there. A fun, neat, and well taken care of home. Comfortable.

The rental is in a perfect location - walking distance to the Mothman Museum and other attractions and shopping. The host is welcoming but hands off. The place is a little drafty but they've provided plenty of blankets to keep you cozy.

This property was absolutely a mothman cultists dream in such an accessible area of Point Pleasant. I couldn't walk anywhere in the house without giggling in glee over how immaculately they decorated the whole house. I believe by the time I left, I counted 87 mothman decorations throughout the whole place. The house was incredibly cute with a lot of personality. The claw foot tub was delightful and the huge king bed was incredibly comfortable. There were even offered treats that were a godsend after 4 hours I had travelled. Access was very easy, The etsy store inside the living room was a brilliant touch and I loved picking out some things to bring home. The whole stay was fabulous and I am already trying to decide when to come back.

Family Road Trip

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect. Our kids enjoyed the Mothman theme and we spent the evening exploring the area. We had no issues and it was a perfect overnight stop for our trip. We are already making plans to return again.

Beautiful Little Property with plenty of charm

We stopped in Point Pleasant for the Moth man stuff and really enjoyed this property SO close to everything. It was very clean and felt historical which was a nice change from the typical listings. I'd stay there again. Only possible issue was the front door was very hard to lock and unlock but we managed well enough.

Mothman Birthday Trip

My daughter wanted to take a trip to Mothman territory for her 10th birthday. This location is easy walking distance to the museum and statue as well as the flood wall murals and state park. The house is charming with an interesting history as a decades-long dental office. It was the perfect stay for our little adventure. .

Perfect

Our stay was amazing. The house was an amazing mixture of Mothman fandom and antiques. I loved both. All the beds were so comfortable. We felt so welcomed. Our hosts thought of evverything. We loved that they had a selection of mothman movies to watch and they even had a little corner in the home where we could purchase mothman merch! Such a great idea. Thank you for making everything so wonderful for us.

Such a lovely place. Quiet and peaceful.

We were in town attending a memorial for a local family member. The first floor rental was the perfect spot for our family. We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history! The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum.

Adorable

My family and I absolutely loved this VRBO. If I was younger (I’m now retired) and needed an apartment, this is EXACTLY what I would be looking for. The bedroom with the pink accents was my favorite. Very clean, nice neighborhood, felt safe. Would definitely love to stay here again if I’m in the area. One thing….i am short, 5’ tall, perhaps a small stepping stool to get onto the beds would be a nice touch.
