Weekend getaway

We all enjoyed playing cornhole and relaxing on the rooftop after a day of touring Boston . Overall we were very pleased with the apartment: the air conditioner in the 2nd bedroom set up was very poorly set up and there were no curtains or shades in the bedroom windows for privacy or to keep the early morning sun from shining in your face.

Perfect location

The condo was as advertised, it was the perfect location for getting in and out of Boston and beyond. The only down side were the people in the unit above us, running around and heavy walkers, luckily we weren’t there during the day, but rather annoying at night.

It was fine!

Property is quiet, as described in Quincy. Had some issues upon check-in with power-on in the apartment but the host quickly solved it in a timely fashion. Superintendent was also helpful when we had some issues with the door.

Not as luxurious as advertised…

The appartment could be really nice, it is in a new building, but overall there were dirty dishes, clothes in the washer and communication was lacking and honestly terrible. I didnt receive till today answers to my questions. Pans were old and scratched so we needed to buy a new own one. Above all the external air condition which was not advertised was a joke. Cardboards in the window that were completely wet from rain and no sunshades on the windows downgraded this appartment a lot. Otherwise if cared enough for the appartment it could be a nice one. Store is walking distance and common room with table tennis was great.

I asked if we could store our baggage before checkin and was told yes by the owner/property manager. I arrived to the door unlocked. I locked it before leaving our baggage. We returned later after checkin and the apartment not been cleaned from the previous renter. I called the mgr and was told the cleaners couldn’t get in because I locked the door. She proceeded to blame me even though I explained that we would never leave our belongings in an unlocked apartment and I would have made other arrangements to store our luggage if she had told me to leave the door unlocked. It is unbelievable to me that her cleaners would not have a way to get in. She uses an actual key, not a keypad for access. So we had to clean our own sheets and towels. We only stayed because we returned late and didn’t have an alternative. There were no window coverings at all and no privacy. One room had blood on the mattress pad and the other room had a makeshift AC that fit through a cardboard hole in the window. It had a bucket in the room to collect condensate that was completely full of water when we arrived. GROSS. This is described as a luxury apartment. Absolutely no way. I have photos of the blood stains and water bucket.

Beautiful & new property

Garage parking with elevator and 2 bathrooms was wonderful for our family, especially my 80+ year old parents. Unfortunately the low profile of the beds was difficult for 3 out of 4 of my group to get up and down. The mattresses were very comfortable memory foam. A dresser and chest would’ve been very helpful in the bedrooms, that are very good size. The bathrooms were beautiful with great water pressure & plenty of hot water. Kitchen was also beautiful but no dining table. 2 counter stools (3rd stool would’ve been helpful) were comfortable and easy to use. There’s a roof Terrance that’s spacious and has softer seating than the living room furniture. The firm living room furniture was helpful for my parents but a bit low. Overall I would rent this again, just hope bed frames could be elevated to accommodate older renters. The views from every window were beautiful and we enjoyed watching rabbits and birds every morning together.
