NB: There's a German Shepherd next door. She occasionally comes outside to play in the yard. She's very friendly but do not approach as she may become scared and barks, wait for her to approach you instead.

Great stay!

Very clean property with great proximity to Boston and the subway. Manager was responsive to questions and needs we had. Stairs to upper floors are steep but doable. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the back deck — a perfect spot to relax. The location was ideal, with convenient access to both the train and freeway. The host’s guidebook was a great bonus, full of excellent recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. Thanks to it, we found Tony’s Clam Shop in Quincy — their lobster rolls were hands down the best we’ve ever had!

Good first experience!

Easy check-in and good communication and responsiveness from hosts. Nice property and interesting internal layout. Relatively new finishes and very clean. Only issues were the miscommunications regarding pet upcharges (corrected), AC settings were too high for the unusual July heat wave (later corrected after one uncomfortable night), and the street conditions were a challenge (not a huge deal, obviously not the host's fault). Overall, a nice place that nicely accommodated our party of six.

This home was fabulous. Newly remodeled, short drive to Boston and lots of other local places. Owners were very very nice & accommodating. Would definitely recommend to others and stay there again.

Quiet and lovely spot

This was a lovely place to spend a week on a business trip with colleagues. The house was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The back yard was peaceful and so pretty. It was a charming neighborhood for morning walks. We enjoyed.

Home for the holidays

My family and I stayed at this property over Christmas. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us all. Kitchen had everything needed for our stay. Located very close to freeway and was convenient for our stay. We will definitely consider this property in the future.

We were in Boston for the marathon and as we were unsure of transit times etc we rented a car which made getting back and forth muc h easier . Travel times were acceptable , this property was as advertised, thank you

Family Visit

Lovely home, exactly as pictured and very clean. Our family came to visit grandson and his Mom and watch him participate in his league sports tournament. We only had one problem and the owner fixed the problem immediately. Great place gor family .to visit and gather while taking in the area. Great place and responsive owner

Nice place but should be clear that it’s a townhome

The place was clean and served its purpose, but it should be clear in the listing that it’s a townhome and not a single family home. There was a barking German Shepard and crying baby that we had to share a wall with. We felt like we had to be extra quiet so as not to disturb them. We would not have stayed here if the listing was more clear.

A nice getaway

We were very pleased tonsee hoe clean and comfortable the house was. Had minor issues which the owner immediately took car of. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was nice have 3 full baths.. We really didn't spend a great deal of time in the home but when we did it was clean smd comfortable.

Exactly what we needed!

First impression of walking into the property was it was super clean. Everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay was available. Location was ideal for what our group was looking for. Quiet and safe but easy access to downtown Boston. Communication with our host was always quick and he answered all of my questions thoroughly. We had plenty of space as 4 adults staying for a long weekend. Never felt like we were tripping over each other. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Quincy House

Thoroughly enjoyed saying at this home. The small neighborhood feel was fun to experience in such a historic area close to Boston. Easy to get into and out of the area by car and just a short drive to the downtown area or rail stations. The home was spotless and beautiful inside. Amazed at the full bathrooms on each floor and the very comfortable beds. It was a very quiet neighborhood and sleeping was great. Loved cooking in the modern kitchen and relaxing in the spacious living room area. Overall my family and I had a great time staying here during the Boston Marathon weekend. I would definitely recommend this home for future stays and would not hesitate to book again in the future.

In town for our daughter’s wedding!

This property is wonderful! Everything was perfect - just as advertised. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is great - everything we needed. The house is beautifully decorated and the furniture is very comfortable. We spent a lot of time visiting in the living room and sitting around the huge kitchen island. We all felt at home. Our added bonus was the location. There were so many things to do within walking distance. While my husband and I were attending to wedding details, our family took a walking tour of Quincy - for two days! Being big hikers, this was perfect. The Quarry was a highlight. Everything was within about a mile from the house. I highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.

Not up to code

No fire extinguishers, no detectors (smoke or carbon monoxide). Exposed wires. Could not get a hold of the host when the furnace broke and 19 degrees out. After many attempts by me and VRBO Customer Service, he called back and wanted me to fix it. I said no. Chisom shows up and tells me that he did not answer us because he was sleeping. Then tells me it’s because he works. Obviously he not a good host. All my guests jaws hit the floor after listening to Chisom basically saying, we are not important. I cannot refer this property to anyone.

Perfect location in quiet neighborhood

I was looking for a comfortable, single family home for my 12 year old daughter and a friend of mine so that we would be within easy driving distance to the Quincy Train Station for traveling to Downtown Boston and also so it would be a close drive to Rhode Island. This was the perfect location and the house was charming, large enough to comfortably spread out for three people to each have some privacy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Although I never met our main host in person, his communications were very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The house was clean, modernized, and well-maintained. It is located in a very crowded neighborhood and the driveway is long and narrow. Even though houses are close together, it was truly quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping. The streets in the area are also very narrow and traffic is heavy, but navigating around is not difficult if you have a good GPS. There are several good restaurants in the area and a grocery store is very close by. We were there in late August. The Central Air Conditioning worked well. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good base for traveling in the Boston area who doesn’t mind dealing with the intense traffic of a Boston suburb. The house is a peaceful oasis in the midst of an otherwise bustling location.
