L'enorme open-concept di granito gourmet / cucina in acciaio ha una vista panoramica della foresta, ponte, e 60 pollici TV con DirecTV e Netflix WIFI gratuita. Completamente ristrutturato nel 2007, a un piano, con un sacco piatta e un sacco di parcheggio. Vi è un ampio cortile erba davanti e ombreggiato portico anteriore, con legno brasiliano un enorme 25x35 'ponte posteriore. Si trova a 5 minuti di auto celeste Nord e 4 miglia a casinò, riva del lago, e la zona sciistica Heavenly South.

Weekend Company Ski Trip
We were very impressed with the condition of the place. Plenty of room for a small group of 8 to gather for a team-building weekend. The kitchen is spacious, with plenty of counters and very well stocked with everything you need to prepare gourmet quality meals. It is in a quiet neighborhood and reasonably close to the slopes. The place was perfect for us.

Beautiful!
We were very impressed with the property. The pictures from home away don't do it enough justice. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the peace and scenic views from inside the home. We loved that we had our own private area outside; the kids played in the snow for hours. We spent a lot of time cooking during our stay and the accommodations were above expectation. The family has already asked about the next trip at this property!

This property way surpass our expectations!!
This review is long overdue and I am one that usually never writes reviews but I wanted to share my wonderful experience. Upon our arrival to the home Walt and Terri had a lovely gift basket for us. They were in contact with us prior to our arrival and was readily available for questions or concerns. The pictures definitely does not do this house justice. It was an incredibly lovely home furnished with absolutely everything and anything you could think of and all available for your use during your stay. We were also able to use their smoker to grill steaks. The patio and yard was huge. The kids loved sledding outside and being able to run in for hot chocolate afterwards. The scenery through the windows was very serene and relaxing. After a 5 day stay the kids still did not want to leave what the called "our house". I can imagine during the spring and summer the kids can property bike, hike and go to the lake, while the winters they spent in the backyard sledding, ice skating and movies at heavenly village. This is a wonderful place to make wonderful childhood memories for the kids. We're considering making this an annual destination at least once or twice a year and if the snow continues to be as good as its been maybe more if Walt and Terri would have us. Thanks again Walt and Terri for the wonderful experience with our first VRBO rental.

Perfect retreat
This charming house has everything. Near fantastic hiking trials, the beach or casinos something for everyone. It is very private with a wonderful large deck looking out into the forest. The house itself has a great layout with and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Yes there is more the place is pet friendly and the owners are extremely helpful and thoughtful.

Tahoe Hikes and Nevada Beach with Pets
Very well appointed and clean home - great location . Owners are always available for any questions. BTW Thanks for the snacks and treats too. Dogs loved their blankets provided by the owners. Would definitely stay again and have recommended this home to friends and family.

Great Lake Tahoe Upper Kingsbury Home
The home is beautiful, modern, spacious, great beds and linens, and overall super clean. The kitchen is large and stocked well. The great room and kitchen were perfect for our large group. After our hiking trips in the area we would all relax on the large deck in the evenings. I especially loved having my morning coffee on the deck. Two of the rooms have large HDTVs where the kids could play their games and watch the Netflix children’s shows that was included in the rental. Really enjoyed bringing my Lab along for the trip. It was great to hike her everyday on the Rim Trail. The owners were always available via text/email/phone for any questions and any additional needs. We look forward to staying again soon.

Quiet Comfort and Family Time
"This house is super-clean and the beds are comfy. Most cabins have cheap towels, etc. but this is like someone's fancy home. They gave us a gift basket of coffee mug, wine, chocolate and cookies. The kids ate it up. The back yard is a forest. This is good for families to enjoy quiet and nature. My wife liked the well-stocked kitchen and I liked sports on the big TV and unwinding on the deck. You can hike right off the deck for miles. I used their smoker to make ribs. We took our Labradoodle for hikes on the Tahoe Rim Trail close by. I have already recommended this home to our family and friends.We hope to be back soon.

Walt and Terri's home at Stateline
Their 4 bedroom home was perfect for our 11 person + 1 dog, family vacation. The house is immaculate but yet very comfortable. The best part is the well-equipped kitchen. Day hiking in the mountains (but if you prefer the concrete/asphault that's just outside the front door), and access to beaches are not far by car. Walt and Terri are very easy to work with and give very concise instructions for the home during your stay. We've rented other homes using VRBO, but Walt and Terri's exceeded the others by far. We look forward to renting from them again next summer. The only downside to this vacation was that we only booked it for one week...2 weeks is a must!! Trust me, it's worth it! :-)

Wonderful home, great vacation, and then...
As stated in all the previous reviews, this home is wonderful. We have used VRBO to rent homes in the Tahoe area many times and have always been pleased. We were hoping to return to this home, as it has everything we wanted for a perfect getaway. The shower head in the second bathroom was loose as we discovered when we found water spraying all over the wall. They had wrapped it with pipe tape, so we tightened by hand and wrapped a washcloth around it. Problem solved for our stay and I let the owner know. One of the kids accidentally spilled a smoothie on a blanket. I treated it with some stain remover and left it on the washing machine. I let the owner know. The neighbors came home at 11 pm on our last night, proceeded to move things (furniture?) in and out of their truck while their dog ran outside barking. I chalked it up to being in a neighborhood and felt thankful that they hadn't been there earlier in the week. I didn't say anything to the owner. Big mistake. I received an email from Terry the evening we left saying that she was refunding our deposit and that the house looked great. Two days later, I received a text message from her asking me "where is the piece of missing floor?" I had no idea what she was talking about, so I called her. She was very upset, accused my husband of "cutting through her floor with a knife", said the neighbors complained that my kids were outside at 1 am making noise (on a night when they weren't home), and told me that the shower head was fine before I arrived so we must have done something to it and tried to fix it. To clarify - I don't take pipe tape on vacation. She yelled "You are going to pay for this!" and hung up on me. She sent me a photo of a hole in her floor that had tools lying around it and pretty clearly looked as if it was cut to put a heating/cooling vent inside. Four boards of laminate flooring had been perfectly cut. I'm not sure if she didn't know about work that was to be done or ? I've never heard back. We did receive our full deposit back. If you choose to rent from them, I have only one recommendation, call her with ANY small problem, noisy neighbors included. We will never return.

A great Tahoe retreat
We rented the home for 2 families plus 3 dogs. Everyone loves it, including the dogs. I don't need to talk about the house, because you can see it on the pictures. I am most impressed by the generosity and hospitality of the owners. Most other vacation homes, no matter how nice they are, you can feel it is just a rental. This one is different. Walt and Terri give you the best. There are no yellow old towels or dented cook ware. Everything is just like the ones we have at home. My wife is very pleased with supplies in the kitchen, There is almost nothing you need to bring from home. It is just like home. We really had a wonderful time. Thanks. Albert

Beautiful Tahoe home for a perfect vacation.
Overall, our experience with this rental was amazing. House was beautiful inside and out (pictures do not do justice of how beautiful the house is). Very clean and well organized. Easy check in and check out. The owners are super nice and helpful and made it an easy wonderful experience. I recommend that if you are looking for a place to stay in Tahoe then this is your best bet. Close to the casinos and other great activities. My family and I have already decided that we are going to stay here again, but make it a longer trip.

Best birthday stay ever!
This was an amazing stay! Beautiful & cozy! Every single need was met in this home! The kitchen was to die for.. Beautiful granite , 2 sinks, 2 refrigerators.. Fully equipped! There were blankets & towels galore! Warm beds..GORGEOUS master bathroom..with an astonishing view through every window. We had 8-10 guests & all accommodations were met for every guest! Walt & Terri couldn't have been better hosts! Upon my arrival I was greeted with a delicious bottle of wine along with a welcome card..very personalized I mite add! Anytime I had any questions or concerns , I text them & immediately received an answer! Excellent hosts! We can not wait to return!

Awesome place!
We rented this beautiful house last weekend to celebrate our son's 21st birthday. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate this important event! The house was perfect - everything we needed was already there just as the website described. Walt and Terri are great hosts! Oh, and proximity to casinos, hiking trails and the lake was a plus for us. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend it. Needless to say, we'll be renting this house on future trips to Lake Tahoe!

Snug and warm house with a private forest out back
My sisters and I stayed here as a family reunion. I have stayed in freezing cold cabins before but this house was warm and snug, with enough of hot water. There's a giant kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances where we made coffee and cooked dinners. The best feature is the big living room that looks out on the forest through many windows. We went snowboarding at Heavenly, which was close. In the evenings we all watched the big screen TV or sat by the fireplace in the dining room on our laptops. Everything looks new and it was clean. We plan to stay here again because it's peaceful and quiet.

Winter Wonderland!!
This location was ideal for our family as we love to take hikes! Especially, we were able to hike to a peak and view an awesome panorama of Lake Tahoe!! Incredible amenities,i.e. great kitchen, deck, two car garage. We were very comfortable and glad we chose this property. We can hardly wait to take our next trip to take advantage of the close proximity to the ski lifts and casinos. We already have friends asking us to let them in on this great location. Thanks for the welcoming atmosphere.

Wow! Better than my own house! Seriously!
We took the kids, went with our Neighbor and his 2 kids and had a blast. The house was immaculate. It was close to the lake. It was like a 5 star suite; without room service of course. :) Very relaxing. Great skiing! Casinos are just down the road. All and all it was a blast and relaxing all at the same time!
