Beautiful setting

What a beautiful setting with great views! It is also an excellent home for a large group and is a short drive to Heavenly mountain for skiing and the towns of Zephyr Cove and South Lake Tahoe. We found the host most responsive and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Time!

Lovely home with great view. Perfect for family reunion. Kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed back balcony with fire pit and all enjoyed the hot tub. Couldn't have been better.

Amazing location in south lake tahoe just minutes away from heavenly. The house is great, for a large group of people. The house was very complete and super cozy. Super fast response from the owner. Totally would stay another time in this property.

Great home for skiing

We had a great experience staying here with 2 families skiing at heavenly. The host responded quickly to all our questions and the home is comfortable, beautiful and exactly as described. We arrived the last day of a 3 day storm that dumped 5 ft of snow and the host had the driveway open and confirmed the neighborhood roads were open before we drove up. Would definitely stay here again.

The views from the main living area are amazing! Kitchen was well stocked and main living area was perfect for our family. Lower two levels of the house are outdated - carpet was very dirty and needs to be cleaned or replaced. Radiant floor heating did not keep up for the lowest level during our stay even with the door closed all day and night the temperature was 53 degrees. Made the basement bedroom unusable for two nights of our stay as it was so cold. If going in the winter AWD is a must! Host was very responsive during our stay.

Amazing property, the views are awesome and the house is laid out perfectly to host 9 people. Probably could have fit more comfortably. Super close to Boulder and Stagecoach lifts on the Nevada side of Heavenly. Would likely need snow tires/traction devices right after a heavy snowstorm. We came in on 2/20 a couple days after the big storm and the roads were mostly plowed, so we didn’t need them this trip. Always better to have them and not need them than the opposite. We also set up a fun sledding track on the hill down below by the hot tub area. All in all, this place blew our expectations out of the water! Thanks for having us.

Great location to ski Heavenly

Stayed late January of 2025. House is 9 minutes from the stagecoach lift of Heavenly. Plenty of room (five guys, everyone had their own bedroom) with beds to spare. Amazing view, wake up each day with the sun coming over the mountains. Quiet neighborhood, but make sure you have a vehicle that can handle some snow. But if you are there to ski you will probably have that anyway. Communication with owner was great, would stay again in a heartbeat.

The place was very dirty the bathroom doors wold not lock or close there was spider webs in the house with dead bugs in the webs we went and got some bbq meat to grill wish I never did the grill was discussing you could not leave the windows open because there were no screens on them and the bugs would come in. The stove knobs wold do a 360 over and over again without turning on and the wold come off in your hand the light where the pool table was the lights would not work so we couldn’t play any pool . We let the host know about the problems he did respond to us 3 days later when it was our last day then he also decided to send someone over to fix the lights on our last night there without letting us knowing when we got back to the house around 9pm there was someone in the house that the host had sent over and let himself in the house my kids were very scared that someone had broken in the house.the worst experience I ever had would never rent this house ever and not recommend it to anyone hope this helps

Hey Antranik, Thank you for your feedback, but i think that you review is somewhat misleading. After your comments that something was wrong with the house, we sent a known and trusted contractor to fix the issue. You proceeded to berate that indivudal who we communicated with you, literaly yelling at him and causing him great distress. For the other issues that you mentioned are also unreasonable. The both doors do lock (they are pocket doors) but like all pocket doors can be finicky when locking. Both our housecleaners and our contractor looked at the stove and the knobs turned fine. I recognize that this wasnt the experience that you wanted, but your assault on our crew was unwarrented.

Great location minutes from South Lake Tahoe

Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. It is older and could use some TLC, especially the lower floors. The carpet on 2 lower floors needs to be replaced. The oven couldn’t be used because it smoked and caused the smoke detectors to go off; and the vent wasn’t working. The outside areas lacked seating. We still had a good time. Lake Tahoe didn’t disappoint.

Beautiful home for our large group

Thirteen of us had a fantastic weekend at Paul's home. We had plenty of beds, a well-stocked kitchen where we cooked meals, a large dining table, and comfortable living room to relax in. Other great amenities included: - hot tub on the deck perfect for star gazing - large deck with beautiful sunrise views - 5 minute drive to Heavenly ski resort (Nevada side) - incredibly responsive host Our only complaint was that the heating did not seem to be fully functional. The downstairs rooms were chilly and the Nest thermostats didn't seem to help, but there were enough space heaters to keep us warm.

Holiday Family Getaway

We loved the views and location. The kids were able to sled in the very private hillside (backyard). It’s a very quiet neighborhood, however, if it’s snowing, you should have 4 wheel drive. The dining table was perfect for family dinners and games. The home feels very spacious for 8 adults. The downstairs bunkbed room was great for the kids to have their own space, however, the bunkbeds might be more suitable for younger children. They are very wobbly and the top bunk is really close to the bottom bunk. The carpets (and a few decorative pillows on the beds) need a good cleaning, but considering it’s pet friendly and snow shoes etc., it’s fine. There were small things that needed fixing, but nothing that would deter us from renting again. You just can’t beat the views!

The property was very spacious, well stocked, and in a pretty good location. Although it doesn't have a view of Lake Tahoe, it still has amazing views of the surrounding woods. Check-in was fast and easy and theres plenty of parking for up to 4 cars if the garage is used. Its perfect for a large group.

Beautiful house with lot of amenities

The house has awesome view with lot of amenities. Our kids enjoyed pool table and hot tub. There are plenty of cookware and kitchenware for big party. We had fun experience during our stay. The owner was very reachable and quick response whenever we had questions or requests. Highly recommended this house

Nice house in a good location, that's it.

Pros. Nice house (clean, enough rooms) Great location Cons. Zero AC, not even fans had to go buy our own. Last minute notice about construction being done to the house left the lower deck unavailable to us and left the driveway unavailable to us as well. No soap or shampoo in any of the bathrooms (again had to go buy our own)

Away from the city

Graet location, not far from south lake where all the stores are, nice locking from the deck and over all I like a house that has everything in the kitchen plate, knife, spoons, spices, a good oven to cook and a big table where everyone can seat and talk I really enjoy this house.

We had family come in to town and our visit to Tahoe was awesome! This house was great, Paul was great! Three floors and the teenagers loved the pool room. We will stay again for sure.

Beautiful House, Great Stay

The location of the house was amazing, super close to everything. The house was clean when we walked in and very organized, the pool table room is the best feature of the house by far. Overall great stay and a great owner, was always quick to reply. Thank you Paul!
