About this property
Beachside Bungalow<br>
This 100 year-old bungalow is one of Pleasure Point's original vacation cottages, around the corner from 3 of Santa Cruz's best beaches. It has a peaceful and elevated farmhouse feel with 6 skylights, a huge antique kitchen table, back deck, front yard and luxury bedding. There's a sunroom full of plants, a hedged in front yard, a generous kitchen and living room, and you can listen to the waves from your front porch. A homey and charming home base to explore Santa Cruz from.
The space
Approx 1000 sq ft. The bedrooms are small - one has a king bed, the other a queen with twin trundle. The space is full of natural light, collected paintings and that old beach bungalow charm. It is my personal home, doesn't have that stale rental look, and I'm offering it furnished. It is outfitted with a bit of a luxurious feel and is not tricked out with childproof safety features, in case that's important to you. The furnishings and linens are largely vintage, Restoration Hardware or Amber Interiors. The house is filled with plants, a veritable jungle and the sunroom up front is a little slice of heaven.
The whole cottage is yours, except the laundry room (a locked room off the back of your house) is shared with the single tenant in the cottage behind yours.
The garden deck off the back is communal, quiet space that's very rarely used by the back tenant but he keeps a few herbs growing there.

Since this is currently a monthly rental: a bi-monthly housekeeper and bi-monthly landscaper is included.
