We had a wonderful vacation here. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a highlight and we used it every chance we got. Our host was easy to work with and made the whole experience smooth. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Apple Cub Cabin was perfect for our girlfriend weekend. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining room table was large enough for puzzling. We especially enjoyed the open floor layout that allowed us to visit while being engaged in different activities.

We stayed at this location for 3 nights and it had everything we needed plus so much more! So many things for the kids to do inside on a cold chilly day. The amenities were outstanding and the area was beautiful! There was definite wear and tear and the fireplace didn’t seem to work but that didn’t stop us from having a great time!

We'd happily stay here again. Great house, very clean, ultra quiet street, loved the back deck for morning coffee, kiddos loved the basement and all the toys and games down there, thanks!

Mara is a great host! She answered promptly with any questions I had. Hot tub was very enjoyable and the cabin was super cozy! They even had a Christmas tree decorated. We will definitely be back!

The house is a little smaller than the pictures portrayed but it still worked out well for our trip. Be prepared to be “off the beaten path”. And, be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Definitely take advantage of the hot tub, it was super nice. Would definitely go back.

Location & Amenities: As noted in our "Location" and "Guest Access" sections, we are tucked away "off the beaten path" to provide a quiet retreat. We also list our provided amenities in the description; while we provide essentials, we send a packing list including bring your preferred personal toiletries (toothbrush/paste, shampoo & conditioner). We appreciate the 4-star rating, though we always strive for a 5-star experience when a stay meets a guest's needs and matches the listing description! Come prepared

Stop before for supplies before you stay. No shampoo-Body soap need to supply your own. Need more televisions. Bring pillows. Not waterfront. Have a good gps.

This was a wonderful home for a large family get-together. Check-in was smooth with a door lock key code. There was plenty of room to congregate but also to have your own space. All facilities, especially the kitchen, were well stocked with the essentials. We particularly appreciated the large basement with unique games of all sorts to keep the kids occupied, and the flat-top grill. While the house is not on the water, it is an easy 10 minute drive to the beach or the pool. The pool was never crowded and had plenty to keep your interest. Some of the space is dated and in need of minor repairs, but that did not negatively affect our stay. Everything was functional enough and clean. Overall we had a great visit.
