This rental exceeded expectations. First off, the place was impeccably clean when we arrived, including the outdoor areas of the porch and fire pit. There were so many nice touches from the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the primary bedroom to little packets of ketchup, which were much appreciated on burger night. The host was communicative and check-in was a breeze. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a getaway in the mountains.

What a wonderful time we had at Summer Haven! The property is well appointed and Melinda was extremely responsive, although we never needed a thing. The cabin is nestled in the forest, and although there are neighbors, you wouldn't know it. The property is less than ten minutes from multiple trailheads for hiking and waterfalls and swimming in DuPont State Recreational Forest. We'll be back!

Summer Haven was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. The cabin was immaculately clean, very spacious and comfortable; the kitchen well-stocked. Melinda was very responsive to a minor issue with the front door key pad. We will definitely return. It’s wonderful!

Great stay

Cabin was great and very clean as noted in other reviews. The 2nd and 3rd rooms are fairly small if you are visiting with multiple adults instead of kids but still very manageable.

New Year’s Get Away

My husband, two college age sons and I spent 7 days at this beautiful cabin to ring in the New Year. The cabin is well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Summer Haven Christmas Getaway

We had a lovely stay. Convenient to Dupont Forest and Caesar's Head. The accomodations were perfect. Very clean and had all the conveniences of home. Check in very easy, communication with the host was great.

Great DuPont home base

Awesome, very clean and nicely decorated cabin located so close to DuPont State Park. Loved our time in the cabin after busy days mountain biking in the area!
