Peaceful secluded cabin nestled on 40 wooded acres overlooking 4 acre pond.

Imagine not being able to see any neighbors and stargazing the unobstructed sky while sitting on the deck or in the cabin. There is no traffic whatsoever because the road to the cabin goes no where else! The 4 acre pond is suitable for fishing. Enjoy the firepit and new gas grill. Take a hike. Plan a day trip to Branson, MO. Watch nature's majesty as it manifests itself during all seasons. There are several nearby rivers for floating or canoeing. You can eat at one of your favorite fast food restaurants if you must! Cabool has a Subway, DQ and Sonic. There are McDonalds in nearby towns, both about 15 miles! Cabool also has a Mexican Restaurant, Asian Diner, a grocery store and restaurant that Mennonites operate and cook for (even their hamburger buns are homemade!) and an old fashioned Cafe. Bring your family or just yourself to revive, rejuvenate and refresh your spirit. This is a perfect location to 'get away from it all’,explore, get back to nature, for storytelling and story making. No TV but there is a DVD player for movie watching.

This place is so peaceful and beautiful! We didn’t want to leave and will be back again! Cabin was cute & comfortable, the view was AMAZING, deer come straight up to the cabin, fishing was great, just a great getaway from all the hustle & bustle!

We loved this place! The smell of the log cabin made you feel right at home. The pond was great for fishing or for the views. Place was clean. It did lack some lighting above the stove and in other areas but we assumed it was more for the log cabin feel. We would highly recommend this place!

Great location. The host has great communication. We appreciated the extra directions on arrival. We were also extremely grateful for a few snacks left there as everything was closed on Christmas when we went.

This was our second time staying & of course, it was amazing! The location & view is so worth it! Sheila was so informative of the Christmas events going on in the town, which we loved. Love staying here & will be our spot every time we go visit family!

Great getaway!

Absolutely gorgeous scenery you can even enjoy from inside. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Trails were well kept and easy to hike. We hope to be back again. Highly recommend!

The cabin is set beautifully overlooking the lake. It feels private and secluded. The communication with the owner was quick and easy. Great location to pivot from.

It was me and my bestie for a girls getaway. We couldn't have asked for a better location. If you truly want to unplug from the world this is the perfect place. We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful, cozy cabin. It’s tucked away on a secluded property with a private lake, complete with fishing poles and a row boat, which made for such relaxing days on the water. The cabin is pet-friendly, and there was so much space for hiking and exploring, our dogs loved every minute of it! The views were stunning, and the host was fantastic with great communication and thoughtful accommodations throughout our stay. Truly one of the best trips we’ve ever had and we can’t wait to come back

The cabin and the property were amazing. It was exactly what was posted only thing i would say is be aware of a kinds steep(for the oler folks) walk down to the doc.also a soft spot for pappy to sit wouldnt be horrible but its stunning quiet beautiful and perfect we fully enjoyed it with our doggos i got to fish and caught 4 bass. The sky at night is amazing this is a must go kinda place it is now our Go to place! Thank you guys so much!!
