Imagine not being able to see any neighbors and stargazing the unobstructed sky while sitting on the deck or in the cabin. There is no traffic whatsoever because the road to the cabin goes no where else! The 4 acre pond is suitable for fishing. Enjoy the firepit and new gas grill. Take a hike. Plan a day trip to Branson, MO. Watch nature's majesty as it manifests itself during all seasons. There are several nearby rivers for floating or canoeing. You can eat at one of your favorite fast food restaurants if you must! Cabool has a Subway, DQ and Sonic. There are McDonalds in nearby towns, both about 15 miles! Cabool also has a Mexican Restaurant, Asian Diner, a grocery store and restaurant that Mennonites operate and cook for (even their hamburger buns are homemade!) and an old fashioned Cafe. Bring your family or just yourself to revive, rejuvenate and refresh your spirit. This is a perfect location to 'get away from it all’,explore, get back to nature, for storytelling and story making. No TV but there is a DVD player for movie watching.

What a great place to get away, unwind, and relax. Cabin is nice, and clean. Lake was beautiful, and the fishing was amazing. My buddy caught the biggest Largemouth bass in his life!! (8lb) We put him back so someone else could experience that feeling!! Nice Crappie, and catfish in the lake as well. Will definitely be back!!

We loved this place! The smell of the log cabin made you feel right at home. The pond was great for fishing or for the views. Place was clean. It did lack some lighting above the stove and in other areas but we assumed it was more for the log cabin feel. We would highly recommend this place!

Very tranquil and relaxing. They have a pond, for which they have a dock to sit on, rowboats and kayaks to use and fishing equipment. The large deck also is spacious with a grill to use and more sitting area. The main bedroom bed and pillows were very comfortable. We did not need to use the four single beds upstairs. The host was wonderful with his communication and even called to make sure if we needed step-by-step directions to get back to the cabin.
