Drews Retreat Downstairs close to Oakhurst Bass Lake Yosemite

Stay in this lovely cabin, Just 30 minutes from breathtaking Yosemite National Park, and less than 15 minutes from Bass Lake. This is the perfect getaway for the traveler looking for relaxation; warm fellowship after a day in Yosemite, or beautiful Bass Lake. The mountain town of Oakhurst is just minutes away. While there are many gorgeous hikes in Yosemite, you can also take some lovely local hikes. In Oakhurst you can enjoy, a theater, fine or casual dining, axe throwing local events and festivities, ice skating at the Tenaya Lodge, and there are grocery, hardware, clothing, and sporting good stores. There are occasional snowy days in the winter. There is a lovely christmas celebration a few days in December, and there's no better place to celebrate Christmas. The whole cabin, upstairs and downstairs, is available in another listing called Drews Retreat Yosemite Oakhurst, in case you have 6 or 8 guests, but THIS listing is for smaller groups who come with 2-4 guests and prefer a cozy setting. No one shares the cabin with our guests, so we lock the upstairs... saving costs, and we pass that savings on to our guests, by charging less for the downstairs only. The yard is frequented by deer, racoons, squirrels, bear, foxes, birds, an occasional mountain lion. Enjoy BBQs on the spacious back deck, or meals in the open floor plan living/dining inside. You should find everything you need to cook and serve a nice meal, and if your meal prep uses and unusual appliance, contact us and we will try to have it there for you!
