This home truly exceeded my expectations. The amenities were top-notch and made everything incredibly comfortable, and the ease of access made check-in and getting around completely stress-free. I especially appreciated how responsive and clear our host’s communication was—it made the entire experience seamless from start to finish.

Pros: The kitchen was stocked adequately with pretty much anything you might need for preparing and serving meals. The house was well configured, bedrooms were roomy & comfortable. The living room/dining room & kitchen area was spacious with plenty of seating for all of my guests. The lower floor game rooms were fantastic with different games, comfortable seating. Did not use the meditation room or sauna, but they were clean and a very nice touch. The house had plenty of TVs & Wifi was fine. The back deck had ample seating. The house interior was clean and visually appealing & comfortable.Cons: When we arrived, the air conditioning was not working and it was 85 degrees.I will say that the rental co. did manage to get an AC repairman out quickly, but ONLY AFTER I HAD TO CALL AND EMAIL SEVERAL TIMES, AND THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE…SO I HAD TO JUST WAIT AND PRAY SOMEONE WOULD GET BACK TO ME. The phone # provided in the rental agreement and welcome documents is definitely not adequate if you have a real emergency. This property is advertised as a “luxury “ rental. I probably would not catagorize this house that way. The property outside is a little rough around the edges, not the manicured pics you see online.Some bedrooms had towels left on the beds, others did not.The interior photos are accurate, but the exterior pics give the impression that the house is very secluded in the woods which is deceiving. he house is quite close to the road. Sliding door to deck was a joke.

The house had a lot of amenities and we used most of them. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The patio door was broken when we got there, but the owner was very responsive.

Lots of space, weird issues

We stayed here for a guys trip to the Poconos. We comfortably fit 12 guys with plenty of extra space. All the appliances were working and there were no issues with the bathrooms. The host was able to accomodate early check in as well. There were however some weird things about the property. The door to the backyard is "european style" and has some bizarre rail system we've never seen before. We even had a realtor in our group who wasn't familiar with it. Best we could tell, the door was off the track because it wouldn't open/shut without having to shimmy it along. Also, the EV charger is a Tesla wall charger. I'm finding this out now, but if you have an adaptor that goes NACS to CCS, apparently that doesn't work. You need an adapter that goes from NACS to J1772. When I asked the host if anything special needed to be done to work the charger I didn't get any response back. I messaged them both through the VRBO app and through text. Lastly, I didn't find out about this until after we left, but apparently, one of the rooms has a window that is stuck partially open.

Our stay in the Poconos was incredible! From the beautiful scenery to all the family activities, we had so much fun. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend. Didn’t have to contact the host for anything ! Everything was as mention on the pre- arriving message. Thank you so much

New Year's Eve in Tannersville

West House Villa is clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities. The location in a quiet area on the edge of Tannersville is convenient to the Simon Premium Outlets and to nearby ski areas. In the basement there is a sauna and a great selection of table games. The basement is cool (temperature wise in the winter) and the meditation room is even cooler. The kitchen is well equipped but cramped. If I remember correctly, there are 14 places indoors to sit for a meal. (For the warmer months, outdoor picnic tables would be nice.) The hot tub was popular with our group. The beds are very comfortable. The Wi-Fi is excellent. Suggestion: Upon arrival learn how to open and close the door to the deck.

Great for large families

The property was very clean & very organized. Everything was provided & it is located in a convenient town with lots to do and stores near by. Would deff stay again.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is the first time I am leaving a less than glowing review. The doors and windows are very odd in the house. They close and lock in a way that is not traditional and end up being drafty, especially the front door. The sliding door to the back patio area does not lock, leaving the property unsecured. Overall, the beds were okay comfortable but the pillows were terrible--if you decide to stay here, bring your own pillows. That is not all, this is the first place that does not supply any paper products except toilet paper. There are no tissues, napkins and only one roll of paper towels that you end up using very quickly because only one dish towel was supplied. When we brought the concerns about the paper products to the attention of the property manager, they offered to reimburse us for paper towels. There was also no plastic wrap or foil, so if you plan on cooking, bring your own. Interestingly, there were no hot pads in the kitchen. Without hot pads or dish rags, it is very difficult and unsafe to take things out of the oven. This was all very frustrating and disappointing when trying to prepare Thanksgiving dinner and meals for the family. These are things expected when you spend more than $2,000. per night to stay there. On the plus side, the house layout was good. We enjoyed the hot tub and many games of ping pong and billiards. Overall, however, we would not stay at this property again.

Overall a nice spacious property. The exit door to the porch was broken, fixed promptly by staff. However, we recommend installing a door with a less awkward locking mechanism.

Memorial Day Get Together

Overall, the house was a great stay. All the amenities, cleanliness and location was ideal. Only issue we had was the outdoor hot tub was not working (due to being broken during the winter season). Wish we were notified of this issue prior to our reservation or if the unit was repaired prior to our stay, that would've been great. Despite this issue, the house was great for our group of 25 people. Everyone had their own space and playroom was a great feature.

Wonderful weekend!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend and loved the house. There were a few little things that could be improved to make it even better. But first the positives….the host responds immediately to all emails. Great communication which is appreciated. The house is very beautiful inside and fit all 21 of us very well. The basement was a hit with the young adults. Four bathrooms were great and there is plenty of hot water. However, like others said, more hand towels, wash clothes, kitchen towels would be great and make the stay easier. I brought my own towels after reading the other reviews. It’s an easy fix. Also, the house was advertised with a hot tub and then, after we paid, they said it doesn’t work. If that is important to you, make sure to ask. Kitchen is very small. Looks much bigger in the pics. Two people at a time can be cooking. But, overall, we all loved the house and just had the best weekend celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday. A weekend we will always remember!!

Amazing house 5 stars

We came here for thanksgiving weekend. From the moment we entered, everything was top notch. 5 stars. We had 22 people and it was cozy and fun for everybody. The host was amazing with any questions or help needed. The house is located perfectly next to everything. Will definitely be back. Thank you again
