Happiness Bay: Saint George Island Waterfront Luxury

Saint George Island may be the best-kept secret in Florida. It's unspoiled natural beauty and laid-back vibe make it ideal for people who want to unplug and unwind. No high rises, stoplights, street lights, or billboards. On our end of this 26-mile-long barrier island, there's only one road. We're on the Apalachicola Bay side, but the Gulf beach is across the street, with private beach access for our guests. You can watch the sunrise on the beach, and sunsets from our private dock or hot tub. Many of Saint George Island's vacation rentals are large homes that rent only by the week. We designed Happiness Bay Studio for two people, for any length of stay, so you can make a quick escape to Saint George whenever your schedule allows. The space is designed for luxury and convenience. The kitchenette has a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, double hot plate, coffee pot, with coffee, oil, and spices. This is a ground-floor studio apartment with private entrance and self check-in via digital lock. The hosts occupy the second and third floors of the home.

This beach is great! The unit is as shown in the photos—small, perfect for two people. It has everything you need, but I would recommend adding a rack, hooks or something to hang wet towels and bathing suits. Maybe outside the side door? I would love to relax outside, but the bugs and mosquitos make it difficult to enjoy it.
