I wish the unit had a dishwasher. Also there were a few things that need attention. The dryer doesn't workSome of the burners didn't work on the stove.There's a hole in the attic siding, there seemed to be a resident squirrel in the attic.Mattresses could be improved/updates.

Spacious, like new cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our cottage with spacious quiet and felt like new. It was very clean with many updates. The beds were comfortable and had adequate space for a larger family. Staff were friendly. We had an initial problem with getting in with the code, but they resolved it quickly. Wi-Fi is not so good making it difficult to communicate with staff so just be aware you may have to walk around to make a call. The pool on the property was very nice and not too overcrowded making it enjoyable for the kids. Highly recommend renting golf carts as the distance into town is not walkable. The kids loved going everywhere on the island with a golf cart.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Poorly maintained and very old. Lights wold keep blowing the gfi in the bathroom. Water heater went out and he said he could get one for a day or so. Beds was broke down. The house electric went out the last day. The dryer took 6 hours to dry two towels. The small bedroom with three beds did not have a vent, so no AC.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was somewhat disappointed in the rental we had. There was a noticeable odor (like a musty smell), the lights in the kitchen weren't working (I had to run out and find the general store on the island to purchase light bulbs and replace them), there were paint supplies in one of the closets, and the sliding patio screen door was off the track when we arrived. I wouldn't expect that kind of experience for the price I paid.

The unit was compareable to its description on line We used the taxi service which was convenient to downtown. The only issue we had was the appearance of the deck. It wasn't very clean but other then that it was great. We recommend this unit. Overall we were very satisfied. We'll be back in 2015!

Way overpriced ****!!!

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It wasn't clean. Not filthy but smell like cat pee or raccoon pee I think. The toilet wouldn't flush, the tub was dirty, the shower door wouldn't close, the ceiling fan was broke, the grill was dirty and had bugs crawling in the grease. No outdoor furniture on the deck. The drain in the road was plugged so our driveway and yard was flooded after a rain. Worst of all the a/c did not work properly and it was in the upper 90's 2 of the 3 days we were there. It cost us $2100 for this uncomfortable **** hole and they kept our deposit. We have been renting from the Island Club for years most of the time it has been good.....this year was bad!!
