On Belanger Pond is a charming cottage in a storybook-like setting. This property is located north of Suttons Bay and is next to a large pond. It sleeps six people and has 2-bedrooms and 1-bathroom.

There is a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, and the upper bedroom is in the loft. The cozy living room is off the kitchen and a large enclosed porch faces south over the pond. Mornings are beautiful on the porch with birdsong and a cool breeze.

This property is a magical spot with gorgeous landscaping and a serene setting. Enjoy a fire in the provided fire pit. There is a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking on a splendid summer evening.

This is a great location to enjoy everything in Leelanau County. Stop at some of the wineries, Leelanau Sands Casino, the vintage Bay Theater, or one of the great local restaurants. The house is 20 miles from Traverse City.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We attended a concert at Leelanau Sands and this cottage was an excellent alternative to staying at the lodge there. It’s a very short drive and could even be walked in the warmer months. We absolutely loved the sunroom and watching the birds on the pond. We also enjoyed shopping and dining in Suttons Bay which is just a few minutes away. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. The only downside was the small driveway but we managed with a small suv and full size truck. I would definitely stay again!

Family reunion week.

No AC but cooler weather worked out well.Hot water was short lived so we kept showers to a minimum. Overall, it is a very nice house and beautiful grounds.

Very cute historical stay

While we were there on a very hot weekend we were able to keep the house cool with the fans at night. Being from Western North Carolina my husband and I were able to adapt however, I would probably suggest that anyone with less of a heat tolerance be sure and check the weather for your stay! The property is adorable, private, and comfortable.

Serene little cottage

This was a lovely little stay. The cottage is charming and cozy. The pond out side is beautiful and serene. It is directly on a busy road as some reviews mention, but being this far out there's not much traffic at night.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house had a cozy feel and nice cottage look to it, which is what we wanted in Northern Michigan. Unfortunately I woke up the first night to the sound of mice running in the house which felt very unsettling. We never saw any out during the daytime, but I was on edge the rest of our stay, and we ended up leaving a day early. It would be nice to be refunded for the night we didn’t stay, because I just wasn’t comfortable the rest of our trip due to being nervous about mice infestation.

Family visit to meet in Leelanau

The cottage was just as described. It was delightful little place to stay at. The attic rooms are toasty so dress accordingly. It was nice to sit beside the pond with the ducks, frogs and wildlife and have your morning coffee.
