Cozy cabin secluded in 50 acre forest. Small pond for catch and release and larger pond up the road for additional family fun fishing. Cabin has water cooler for drinking/cooking water, and separate private bathhouse located 50yrds from cabin has hot shower, flushable toilet and outside sink for dish washing.

The property was charming and relaxing. The sounds of nature invigorating. The wildlife were fun to watch . The cabin was clean, the host was fast in replying, and family friendly. We didn't bring any pets but dogs would love swimming in the pond.n

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The host was great and very communicative. Second pond was not clearly located but once found was very nice. We were disappointed that the pond at the cabin was too low to fish in due to the drought as it was the main reason we picked this location.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry about the pond situation, it’s the lowest it’s ever been in the past 20 years, due to the drought. But we are fortunate to be able to offer a larger pond with new dock for use located less than a mile up the road.

Check-in process and communication was excellent from the start. We were able to start enjoying our stay immediately upon arrival. Communication during our stay and at the end was equally as positive. Quick and helpful information was always provided. The pictures of the cabin and immediate area do not do this cabin/surrounding area enough justice. It is beautiful, rustic, and warm. Fishing at the Big Pond was awesome. My family and I had an amazing time and can’t wait to return.

Together, Alone

This property is located around things and people, but somehow finds a way to be a remote cabin. It was perfect for a guys weekend, and what we needed it for. Love the pond for a cold plunge in November. The outhouse was nice! There’s bears around the property which was awesome. Loved it. Awesome host!

The cabin is not far from town but definetly isolated. It is very clean, quiet, and a great break from the city life. The kids loved catching all the fish in the pond, and having smores at the camp fire. The host (Nancy) was great and aswered any of my questions right away! I will definetly be coming back!!

It was a fun trip with fishing, nature and a relaxing time outside! The only problem was the time of year I decided to go because it was quite hot and even with fans the heat was a little much at times! Overall I had a great time!

Location was peaceful, private and had everything we needed. My family had a wonderful time. My kids loved chasing the little frogs from the pond and swimming at the very close stoney brook park creek. My husband and I loved sitting and relaxing by the water as well. The power went out in the overall vicinity during a rain storm our first night. It was super hot out so I reached out to the host in the morning to inquire about this so we could use fans at the home. The host responded back quickly, and kept us posted on a restoration time. We would recommend this cabin to our family and friends and hope to return one day!
