This cabin is where you want to stay! Cute, clean and very quiet. Cabin includes everything you could need. The kayaks were great. Went down river fishing and paddling. 5 rating. Would definitely stay again!!

Went during the week, took kayaks out, went down river and up river, prefer up river. We were the only ones on the river so peaceful and quiet. Plenty of privacy, sitting out in the gazebo watching the river. If you want to have a glass of wine, bring it with you as this is a dry county. Definitely plan on returning.

If you're looking for serenity and relaxation, this is the place! The cabin has all the comforts of home, with loads of country charm. The beautiful Caddo River being so close and easily accessible adds to feeling of being completely secluded. We loved the town, also! 10/10 recommend! The Shack is certainly on our "Must visit again" list!

This was our second stay here this summer. Five stars! If you want a peaceful location with the fun of playing in the river this is a perfect spot. We saw a few groups float by on tubes & kayaks but most of the time it was complete solitude. Highly recommend!

This is a great place. The shack is cozy and in the perfect spot to soak in all the good things. The outdoor tub qas so relaxing after hiking and kayaking around the river.

This is one of the best places we have stayed in a long time! Every aspect of this property was perfect! The cabin and location was as good as it gets! The river and the fishing non better. The best part is the host. Never before have i been allowed to show up early and stay late and i didnt ask they offered! These are top tier host with top a tier property. You will not find a better spot on Caddo river. Two kayaks, two tubes, grill, private landing, lighted gazebo, huge fire pit with wood, fresh eggs in the fridge, view of the river from bed, outside sink and hose for washing fossils or dogs, screened in porch, great shower, they have thought of everything! My hats off to the host for a wonderfully thought out an handled vacation rental. You guys are great thank you so much!

Beautiful home! Had a great time and we appreciated the comedic relief throughout the home! We also enjoyed watching some throwback VHS movies. The host was super nice and quick to respond when needed.

Owner provided lots of great info before arrival. Easy check-in. Truly a special place on the Caddo. Great location. Wish we had more time. Love watching the lighting bugs at night. Cabin had everything you could need. Loved everything about our stay.

Nice cozy spot

Had bad weather for a couple days and the owner communicated with me about when the power would be turned back on which didn’t matter cuz we were exploring Mt. Ida but still nice of him to let us know. The shack is very cozy and access to the river is nice. The water is shallow enough to relax and can get a little deep as you venture away from the cabin down stream.
