River's Bend Cabin sits on a bluff overlooking the Caddo River and the Ouachita Mountains. The views are amazing and the water is so close that you can hear the ripples as it makes its way down the river. The cabin has a dipping pool with a waterfall feature that is open from May through September. There are steps down to the river where there is good swimming or fishing. This little cabin was adorable. With the large windows it felt much bigger. The views were spectacular. The pool was perfect to just sit and relax.

We have stayed in this beautiful cabin numerous times over the past probably 20 years and it never disappoints. The owners are wonderful and the cabin is spotless. The views are breathtaking not too mention the beautiful sunset . It is the perfect place to getaway and enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet while enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river.

What a beautiful, well appointed little cabin. Beautiful view. We saw eagles over the river within minutes of arriving. No highway noise! And a Ms Pacman game!

This place was amazing. Great views, access to the river, great decks to relax on! Check-in was very easy. I like that they gave a clear outline of what needed to be done and the expectations for the stay. The house was very clean and well maintained. I was excited about the heated pool, but it was not open for use yet. But honestly with the river and everything else, we did not miss it much. This is a must to rent again!

We enjoyed staying here! We loved sitting outside early in the mornings to listen to the river and birds and enjoy the views. There was loud construction next door during the day, but we weren't there much during those times anyway. The steps to the river are incredibly steep and don't lead the entire way down, but it was worth it to make the trip down! The host was also very nice and easy to get in touch with when we needed.

We needed to get away during the Mother's Day weekend due to the loss of my mom just a few weeks ago. This property was exactly what we needed! The peace and tranquility were beyond what we were expecting! We watched eagles catch fish in the river as well as critters in the meadow. The deer were plentiful - even watched one chase an eagle!The accomodations were clean and comfortable. The only thing we weren't expecting was the small 3' shower, but everything else made up for that! We spent a lot more time in the heated pool than I expected to...it was SO relaxing!!Be sure you either bring all the food and seasoning you need, because there's not a grocery store around the corner - the one we stopped at was in Glenwood.This little cabin on the river was exactly what we needed and we plan to come again someday.Thank you Thomas for allowing others to share your little piece of heaven!!

The cabin is perfect, the pool was closed for the season but looks really inviting. The views from the deck are amazing, we watched the deer across the river and the eagles hunting the river. Added bonus this trip the northern lights gave us an awesome show.

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing stay. The view was magnificent! We sat on the deck and watched the deer play in the field across the river. The sound of the river was so relaxing and the fall foliage was beautiful. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Just what we needed for a few days.

Just a wonderful stay!Really enjoyed relaxing on the patio - watching the clouds and river below. When we got warm, a quick dip in the pool and all was good.The cabin was spotless with everything we needed.Met the owner as we were leaving - really nice. We have lived in this area most of our life and love its natural beauty. We take great pride in making sure our property is well maintained and look forward sharing this little piece of heaven with all of you.

Rivers Bend is a short drive from Glenwood on a quite part of the river. It's on a bluff overlooking the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and the river is directly below, the sounds of the water rippling is very peacful. Rivers Bend has one of the most beautiful views on the river and is the only lodging on the river that has its own heated dipping pool with a waterfall. ( Open from May through September ).
