Must be 30 yrs old. The #2 Cedar Cottage is perfect for a couple with or without kids.It is modern and stocked with linens and kitchen utensils.Enjoy lake views from the deck as you grill on the Weber.It is only 15-20 minutes from all parts of Madison,yet is located in a rural country setting. Rent kayaks or the pontoonboat ,bike the rolling hills,or bring your own boat and enjoy uncrowded 3000 acre Lake Kegonsa.
The bedroom has a queen bed.There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the living area.There is a full bathroom and a complete kitchen. The cottage is small and best suited for 2 people,but many parents have brought 1 or 2 children and have been comfortable.No pets allowed.It is located at Crown Point Resort.

Simple, charming get away

This place is sweet— from the welcome board with your name on it, to posted restaurant/activity recommendations, to cute rustic comfortable cottages (well appointed and comfy bed). Beautiful siting—can enjoy coffee and lake views from private deck.

Amazing scenic getaway!

The cabin was very clean and perfect size for 2 people. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook. Beautiful patio and view of the lake - didn’t get a chance to take the kayaks out because it was a little chilly but looking forward to it next time.

Cabin by The Lake

It was nice meeting Frank and getting his help with the "Luggage Cart." The Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed, but most importantly it had a nice view of the lake. While the Cabin is in a Resort it was very private due to the layout of the Cabins and the covering trees and bushes. We would stay there again.

The property is the recipient of very evident responsible care in the buildings and on the grounds. Its rustic feel adds to its charm and the lake and its view from the cabins completes the relaxing atmosphere.

Great rustic cabin near the lake

I enjoyed staying at this rustic cabin. It was clean and furnished to fit the wooded lakeside setting. The host, Frank is both friendly and kind. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton with fancy appliances, this is not your place. If you are looking for a friendly, low key, low stress cabin on the lake, this is your place.

Clean and comfortable for our trip to the Horse fair

The cabin was small for 1 adult and 2 tweens (ok, probably just small for Mom!). Would have liked more privacy. Property manager was extremely nice and attentive to the needs of guests. A bonfire pit would have been nice, but it was extremely windy so understandable.

Expectations beyond met

The cottage was super clean! It was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The cottage has a nice private balcony/patio with a great view of the lake. Nice town to visit and super close to Madison. Last but not least, Frank is a super nice guy! Very accommodating of our last minute cottage change and made a terrific recommendation for a supper club in Madison (Toby's). We would definitely book again!

Comfy and Cozy

Location, location, location. We loved this cottage/cabin on the lake. We would have preferred the closer unit, but we still had a lake view. The cottage is perfect for a couple to have a relaxing time. The living/kitchen area is not large, but had everything we needed. The deck was a great place to eat or just enjoy the outdoors. Frank is a wonderful caretaker. We used this as a base of operations for hiking and biking in the area, plus a football and hockey game in close by Madison.
