Let this excellent chalet near Mount Hood be your family’s new favorite ski retreat! Sleeping up to six guests in three gorgeous bedrooms, this cute townhouse is perfect for you and any lucky tagalongs. You'll even have your very own private deck!
Located less than a mile from Government Camp, OR, this condo at Collins Lake is luxurious, spacious, and lovely. Though the main draw of this condo is undoubtedly its proximity to the slopes, you can’t miss a visit during the summer months!
The kitchen is perfect for making small meals between trips to the slopes, but don’t miss out on all of the great restaurants in Government Camp. If you do choose to stay at home, there is a dining table with six seats for sitting around and chatting with your friends and family. There are even a few stools at the breakfast bar.
Relax in one of the comfy couches in the living room, and cozy up in front of the gas fireplace, watching something on the large flatscreen cable TV.
At bedtime, make your way upstairs where you’ll find three lovely bedrooms. The master has a gorgeous queen-size bed and en suite bathroom. A second bedroom has a queen-size bed! The third and final bedroom has a two-twin bunk bed. All of the bedrooms also have their own TVs, but don’t stay up too late - you’ll want to wake up early to get to the slopes or trails! Besides the master bathroom, there is also another full bathroom and one half-bathroom.
This home also has free WiFi, a shared pool and hot tub, and a private washer/dryer to wash your things after spending the day on the slopes. At the end of a long day, you'll love relaxing outside on the private deck.
In the winter, head on over to the Collins Lake clubhouse and enjoy a good book in front of the lovely stone fireplace, or have a day of relaxation in the shared hot tub, sauna, and pool. When it’s time to go skiing, everyone will love the slopes at Mount Hood Meadows, or really any of the other ski areas in the area. In the summer, plenty of trails and picnic areas make the area around Collins Lake verdant and lovely. Pack a lunch, and find a pretty spot to sit down and eat during your hike.
Whether you visit during the summer or winter, you are sure to have fun at this wonderful condo near Mount Hood!

About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

enjoyed our stay, quite comfortable unit, but could hear people going up and down the stairs in the next door units. So a bit noisy. Also the kitchen could use a few more supplies. Only one liquid measuring cup that I could find. Nothing for measuring dry ingredients.
2 day get away to the mountain
If you are a skier and want a perfect and close place to the resorts and/or G Camp...stay at this property! Very clean, very cozy, and user friendly. The pool is less than 100 yards away and was well used. The residence was stocked with all we needed.. no issues at all. We will for sure be back and have already raved about this unit. Fun, Fun, Fun!
This home was very clean with plenty of amenities inside as well as on the property. There was ample room for two adults and two kids to spread out in or hang out on the large couch for a movie. The kitchen was well stocked with clean items and the appliances worked well. Our kids were excited for cable but there were limited channels and very blurry..minor issue but could be a problem for some. The heated garage was very convenient as it was pretty chilly during our stay. We would love to visit again next year and have recommended this condo to family.
Great family place.
Powder day and mountain spirit!
Thank you for a beautiful stay! The unit was clean and true to the mountains spirit of Government Camp. We loved the beautiful hot tub in the middle of the woods. The security guard on site was so friendly and helpful!
Ok. Clean and tidy, but Needs some personel touches.
Was disappointed over holiday visit there were no holiday decorations?
Negatives: Bold letters should describe that the 3 area for sleeping is not a bedroom. No window and no door...stuffy. Condo is quite Noisy. 2 stair cases with STEP steps. Master toliet did not work. Garage door did not open from outside.
Positives: Furnishings overall are very nice, very "rental like". TV in each bedroom a nice touch, (but very basic programing) Clean but needs a little TLC. Roomy. Pretty view off back deck. Heated garage a nice touch. Vacass very helpful with problems.
