About the property

Condo, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 1 Half Baths, Sleeps 6

Let this excellent chalet near Mount Hood be your family’s new favorite ski retreat! Sleeping up to six guests in three gorgeous bedrooms, this cute townhouse is perfect for you and any lucky tagalongs. You'll even have your very own private deck!

Located less than a mile from Government Camp, OR, this condo at Collins Lake is luxurious, spacious, and lovely. Though the main draw of this condo is undoubtedly its proximity to the slopes, you can’t miss a visit during the summer months!

The kitchen is perfect for making small meals between trips to the slopes, but don’t miss out on all of the great restaurants in Government Camp. If you do choose to stay at home, there is a dining table with six seats for sitting around and chatting with your friends and family. There are even a few stools at the breakfast bar.

Relax in one of the comfy couches in the living room, and cozy up in front of the gas fireplace, watching something on the large flatscreen cable TV.

At bedtime, make your way upstairs where you’ll find three lovely bedrooms. The master has a gorgeous queen-size bed and en suite bathroom. A second bedroom has a queen-size bed! The third and final bedroom has a two-twin bunk bed. All of the bedrooms also have their own TVs, but don’t stay up too late - you’ll want to wake up early to get to the slopes or trails! Besides the master bathroom, there is also another full bathroom and one half-bathroom.

This home also has free WiFi, a shared pool and hot tub, and a private washer/dryer to wash your things after spending the day on the slopes. At the end of a long day, you'll love relaxing outside on the private deck.

In the winter, head on over to the Collins Lake clubhouse and enjoy a good book in front of the lovely stone fireplace, or have a day of relaxation in the shared hot tub, sauna, and pool. When it’s time to go skiing, everyone will love the slopes at Mount Hood Meadows, or really any of the other ski areas in the area. In the summer, plenty of trails and picnic areas make the area around Collins Lake verdant and lovely. Pack a lunch, and find a pretty spot to sit down and eat during your hike.

Whether you visit during the summer or winter, you are sure to have fun at this wonderful condo near Mount Hood!

About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great location and amenities.

 • 5 of 5

We were there for a summer father son trip - 2 adults, 2 kids. Nice location with walking distance to town and both adventure park locations. Having a pool and hot tub was great after hours of mountain biking. We found out at the end of our time on the chair lifts/East that you can take a $2 bus up to Timberline Lodge and ride 6 miles of singletrack downhill! Next time. Town was a little grungey as expected; no fine dining options (although Timberline Lodge Sunday brunch was impressive) but perfect bar/"apres ski" food for an active vacation. Overall epic trip with very comfortable condo amenities, good rental support, and amazing weather for our time there. We will plan an annual trip (from Seattle). If we lived in Portland, we'd be there all the time!

All is good in the HOOD

 • 5 of 5

This place is great, the hot tub and pool, right in Government Camp, trails everywhere and lakes with amazing views and great fishing... it's like soup, it's like malt-o-,meal, it's good for ya, it's like, nothing bad let me tell you that much.

first time trip to mt hood

 • 4 of 5

First time to my hood, lived in Oregon all my life. Drive in with 5 Other fiends from Beaverton or. Stayed dec 3-5. Condo was beautiful, clean, spacious, had all cocking essentials. Pretty window views from bedrooms. Beds were pretty stiff, and pillows not to full either. Wifi was "not available " although listed that it was in the unit. Tried troubleshooting but no luck, called front desk, they sent the maintenance worker to reset modem. Still nothing, all guests had no option for wifi on devices. :( on all I would stay again. Maybe try the grand lodge next time :)
