Three Levels of Living Space
This beautifully remodeled townhome spans three levels, offering stylish, comfortable accommodations with thoughtful touches throughout. Please note: guests must climb stairs to access the living areas, as there is no elevator.
• Entry & Garage (Ground Floor): Enter through the private front door into your heated two-car garage, perfect for keeping vehicles warm in winter or protected year-round. This space also doubles as convenient gear storage, with benches for ski boots, racks for equipment, and plenty of room for bikes. Extra outdoor guest parking is also available.
• Main Living Area (Second Floor): A short flight of stairs brings you to the open-concept heart of the home. The living area is filled with natural light and designed for gathering:
• A gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, granite counters, an island, and fully stocked cookware.
• A dining area with a spacious table for group meals and game nights.
• A comfortable living room with leather sofas, accent chairs, a large Roku Smart TV with Guest Mode, and a cozy stone fireplace.
• Direct access to a private patio featuring a propane grill, outdoor seating, and a propane firepit—perfect for après-ski gatherings or summer evenings under the stars.
• Bedrooms & Loft (Third Floor): Another set of stairs leads you to the private sleeping quarters:
• Two King Suites: Both bedrooms feature plush king beds and ample closet space. One includes a beautifully tiled en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second king shares a remodeled bathroom with a tub, shower, and handheld sprayer. Both bathrooms are bright, modern, and clean with fresh linens provided.
• Built-In Queen Bunk Loft: Families love the custom queen-size bunk beds and the open loft lounge above. This space also features its own TV, making it a fun hangout spot for kids or teens. Please note: the loft is open to the hallway between bedrooms and adjacent to the shared bathroom—it is not enclosed and does not have a door.
• Note on TVs: Neither master bedroom includes a television; the upstairs loft TV complements the large living room TV.

About the host
Hosted by Taylor Jordan

We are Taylor and Jordan, a married couple who balance professional careers with a love for the outdoors. Years ago, after spending countless weekends skiing, hiking, and exploring Mt. Hood, we realized Government Camp had truly become our happy place. We wanted a spot where we could escape the city, unplug, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
When we discovered Collins Lake Resort, it felt like the perfect fit—close enough to walk into town, steps from Ski Bowl, and with all the amenities that make life easy after a long day in the mountains. The heated pool, hot tub, and sauna sealed the deal, and the layout of the townhome made it ideal for gathering together yet still having space to spread out.
We put our hearts into remodeling the home to reflect both comfort and style—mixing mountain charm with modern touches. For us, this townhome isn’t just a vacation rental; it’s our home-away-from-home. We love spending time here with friends, cooking in the kitchen, warming up by the fireplace, and letting the kids take over the loft space.
Hosting gives us the chance to share that experience with others. Whether you’re here for fresh powder days, summer hikes, or a cozy romantic weekend, we hope our Collins Lake townhome becomes your retreat too.

Why they chose this property
We chose Collins Lake Resort in Government Camp because it offers the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and mountain adventure. Nestled at the base of Mt. Hood, this neighborhood puts you just steps from Ski Bowl, a short drive to Timberline Lodge, and within easy reach of Mt. Hood Meadows. Snow Bunny, the family-friendly beginner ski area, is only minutes away, making it ideal for kids and new skiers.
Collins Lake Resort itself feels like a true mountain village, with access to a year-round heated pool, oversized hot tub, and sauna that guests love after a day outdoors. The resort is quiet, safe, and walkable, with restaurants, coffee shops, and ski rentals in Government Camp just a few minutes away on foot.
Beyond skiing and snowboarding, this location shines year-round. In the summer, you can hike and bike directly from the resort or head to nearby trails like Mirror Lake, Ramona Falls, or the Timberline to Town Trail. Lakes such as Trillium Lake, Clear Lake, and Timothy Lake offer fishing, swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding, while the Sandy and Salmon Rivers are perfect for floating or casting a line.
We also loved that Government Camp is Oregon’s only true alpine village—it has all the charm of a ski town while remaining family-friendly and relaxed. Collins Lake offers the amenities of a resort with the comfort of a private home, and being right off Highway 26 means it’s easy to reach Portland or Hood River for day trips.
For us, it’s the perfect combination: ski-in/ski-out vibes with shuttle access, a welcoming mountain community, and a resort neighborhood that feels like home.
