Birdie's: A New 2b in Downtown Hillsboro

Welcome to Birdies in historic downtown Hillsboro! Were so happy to have you. Birdie's boasts an easy drive to the Oregon Coast, Wine Country, Portland, Intel, 3 major hospitals and nearby colleges. Stroll 2 blocks to Main Street for a variety of restraunts, coffee shops, a vintage arcade, tap house, bar, antiquing and the Farmers Markets. Your littles will love playing in the Super Top Secret Clubhouse stocked with toys and books. Our goal is for you to TRULY make yourself at home.
The space
The guest house is above our 3 car garage, with the washer and dryer in the bathroom closet of the apartment. Decorated by new and up-cycled higher end materials, this space has been a personal joy to create! One could say we leaned into the "Put a bird on it" parody from Portlandia.

Being in a very walkable area, chances are you'll have the opportunity pet ALL of the dogs. We even have llamas and ferret's that take a stroll from time to time! There's a great park one block away, little free libraries on every other corner and many unique things that make this place special. Take a 5 minute walk to a little market called The Collective to get some grocery staples, breakfast or lunch, and enjoy the humor. There's also a bakery the winner of Chopped! runs next-door that's super yummy! There are new restaurants being put in, a new food cart... city? region? mall? Still not sure what to call it. There's also some casual axe throwing if the spirit moves you... Walk another block down and you have a bars, coffee shops, and many food options from different cultures.

Please note: There is a flight of stairs to get to the second story of the main apartment. You will come back from your trip with buns of steal! Also of note: We the hosts, live in the house behind the apartment. If you're lucky, you might get to experience the sights, sounds (but hopefully not the smells) of our family circus. Always cautious and courteous though, we take care to make sure we don't steal the show.

Our hope is that you find rest, rejuvenation and inspiration here at Birdie's. Take a minute to stop in this space and reflect on this one, important, meaningful life you have. I don't want to make it weird, but fyi... there is only one you, and you are loved!

You will have your own garage bay, that is closed off to our other two bays. It has it's own private entrance with stairs to the main space.
Other things to note
There is a flight of stairs to get to the second story of the main apartment. You will come back from your trip with buns of steal! Yay for you!

We have our apartment manager living on site in the White House behind birdies. They are very helpful, thoughtful and courteous! They do use the two garage bays downstairs, so you may hear minor noises from time to time.

Though we are kid friendly, the apartment is not baby proofed.
