Amazing Experience!

Full week with our three grown kids, their spouses, and four granddaughters... The property was amazing, interior, exterior, pool and beach! The staff was outstanding from breakfast through dinner including mid-day Margaritas for the adults and smoothies for the kids. The owner, Barbara, was incredibly helpful with advice for transport for 11 of us from and back to the airport and excursions. Within a couple of days of arrival we were all trying to figure out how and when we could repeat.

Absolutely Fabulous!

We just returned from our stay at Villa Vidorra and the experience was over the top. We felt like royalty. The villa was stunning and luxurious, even better than the photos. The beach was beautiful with day beds, hammocks and lounges. We had massages on the beach and used the snorkel equipment and kayaks every day to explore the reef. Saw lots of colorful fish, eagle rays, lobster, some eels and a couple turtles. The best part was the staff and the food. They were all so much fun and the meals were delicious. Whenever we needed something it just appeared. All of our family members had an amazing time. We can’t wait to go back!

Comfortable and Nice staff

Overall, we had a good time. There were several issues that the owner was made aware of like leaking a/c unit, tiles falling off the pool walls, etc. One member from our party slipped and fell because of the leaky unit. The owner sent someone to fix it, but it really wasn't fixed. We needed to have towels under the unit to prevent another fall. The beach and water was perfect. The food prepared was great every meal. The staff working there were nice and helpful. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Would visit again, hoping the owner will take care of the little issues.

We recently stayed at Villa Vidorra in Tulum and unfortunately our experience fell far below what was advertised and what was promised during our discussions with the owners. Despite assurances prior to arrival, we faced multiple problems including:A/C outages lasting over 16 hours, followed by a major leak that damaged personal documents inside the bedroom. Water issues: full loss of running water overnight, leaks from ceilings (including over a toilet), and inconsistent or no hot water.Cleanliness and safety concerns: ants and rat evidence in the kitchen, dirty conditions on arrival, unsafe new “guest room,” Broken or missing amenities: non-working TVs, inoperable speaker system, and faulty outlets.We tried to reach out to the owners to remidiate this issue. After speaking with them on a lengthy phone conversation they made promise to compensate us. Unfortunately, they both have gone silent after that phone call and have stopped responding to our emails and or texts.

BEST TRIP EVER!

We usually travel to Cabo for our tropical vacation but went out on a limb and tried Tulum
 and it has totally changed the future for our vacations! First, the house is amazing and the associated Beach and Pool are even better. Second, the owner has the best communication and was in contact within minutes of reaching out to her, if not contacted immediately. Third, and Most Importantly, THE STAFF makes this vacation into a dream setting. We obtained wonderful and punctual meals, on top of nonstop drinks, customized to our palate, and the hospitality that superseded any hotel or resort that we have ever visited. The cove the house is at is perfect for Kayaking and snorkeling, so you don’t actually need to leave the property for excursions, but I would still recommend venturing off for the Calypso Charter and the Cenote tours, if you have the time. We will definitely be back to enjoy the house again, and hope that the same house crew is there, as they made us feel as comfortable as possible.

Absolutely Breathtaking!

This was the BEST and most RELAXING vacation our family has ever had! First of all, the staff was the most memorable part! Luis and Manny's attention to every detail with drinks and food was outstanding! Luis made the yummiest drinks for the adults and even special ones for the kids. The food
 Manny and the staff accommodated the adults and the kids – everything was homemade! The entire household staff was wonderful but quietly unseen. We were a group of 11: 6 adults, 5 kids ages 2-13. Everyone was happy and did not want to leave! Tons of space for the older kids to do their own thing and great for the little ones as well. The beach was so beautiful and it seemed like we were the only ones on it. Lastly, Barbara & Chris helped to arrange everything for us: airport transportation, massages, whale shark diving, Mariachi band, Tulum ruins, and even going above and beyond to get my husband a GoPro before all our adventures! We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate my sister's birthday!!! Thank you Villa Vidorra!!!!!!

Fabulous place for a family vacation

We traveled with our adult children, 4 grandchildren, and my son's mother in law. Villa Vidorra is as or more beautiful than its pictures. We had an extremely relaxing and luxurious family vacation together. The staff were all friendly, caring, and extremely competent. Food was delicious. They catered to our tastes, including our fussy grandchildren. We requested mostly local cuisine which was prepared in an authentic manner. Fresh fish, cochinita pibil, chicken mole, all wonderful. Luis the bartender made tasty drinks, and the children loved their fresh fruit smoothies. Soliman Bay is quiet and relaxed, unlike most of the Mayan Riviera. Calm because reef protected, clear warm water. Lots of sea grass and sargasso, which were swept on a regular basis. Not a great snorkel destination: a few isolated coral heads. My daughter said snorkeling closer to the fringing reef was somewhat better./ The house itself is extremely comfortable, with lots of areas indoors and outdoors to relax and socialize. We rarely left the Villa during our week there, though we did enjoy a tour of the Sian Ka'an Bioreserve a little bit south of Tulum. Our highest recommendation.

Incredible Couples Trip!

We recently stayed at Villa Vidorra for a 50th birthday celebration. The house is absolutely amazing. All of the bedrooms are well appointed and include large attached bathrooms which were perfect for our five couples. The common areas inside the house are great, but we spent most of our time in the unbelievable outdoor space. We ate all of our meals at the large outdoor dining table right outside. There are multiple areas to sit back and relax in and the pool was perfect for sitting in and enjoying a beverage. The beach is also a very nice feature of this property. There are plenty of lounge chairs and even a cushioned outdoor daybed beneath the trees. The beach is very private – the only people we saw were a few other folks staying at some other homes on the bay. While the house itself is great, the best part of the experience is the UNBELIEVABLE staff. The staff are so warm and welcoming and made our stay truly one-of-a-kind. Chef Manuel made incredible meals and worked with us on some dietary restrictions. His chilaquiles were awesome! Luis, the staff bartender, is super friendly and makes delicious drinks. He was always on the ready to make drinks and bring out water whenever we needed. Angel is a great asset in the chef’s kitchen and housekeeper Vicky kept everything tidy. They were all exceptional. The owner, Barbara was also great to work with. She helped us get everything planned from airport transportation to our catamaran excursion.

Five star vacation*****

Villa Vidorra is truly a five star vacation. 1. Barbara takes care of EVERYTHING for your stay in order to make it seamless from time of arrival to time of departure. She suggests various excursions in the event the group is interested, and also handles everything to book it. She is an amazing concierge! 2. The villa is located in a private neighborhood on Soliman Bay. The grounds are very well maintained. The housekeeping team keeps the villa extremely clean throughout your stay. The villa, pool, and beach were all immaculate. 3. Chef Manual, sous chef Angel and bartender Luis are there to serve all of your needs. Our group could not decide which meal was best because they were all delicious. (although - our group did vote our steak/lobster night the best!) Luis crafts whatever cocktail you are in the mood for that day and is more than willing to try new recommendations! Our group was so sad leaving this wonderful team after our week of relaxation. (side note - if they could bottle and sell their salsas.... we would buy a dozen!!) 4. I would highly recommend the following activities: snorkeling in the bay, organizing a yoga session out by the pool, & MASSAGES! We also enjoyed the catamaran excursion (but have them take you to the bay for the full time... better snorkeling there) 5. If you wanted to give Chef Manual a break - we highly recommend dinner at the Jashita hotel 2 doors down. Conclusion - we will absolutely be back to Villa Vidorra. Soliman Bay was perfect.

The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the preplanning of our trip as well as throughout our entire stay. She was easy to access and responsive. Barbara even helped us plan a small wedding/vow exchange on the property and connected us with some amazing people to help make our day magical in this beautiful location!The amenities were gorgeous, the view, the calm bay and BEAUTIFUL sand and well-kept beach for enjoyed by all!The staff were OUTSTANDING and just as hard to leave as the beautiful location. They were all so kind, accommodating and down right hard workers!!! We enjoyed the incredible food served by Manuel and the delicious bottomless drinks served by Loius. We appreciated the beautiful ladies that helped keep our space clean and tidy and were so helpful with getting clothes washed and pressed for our big day! They worked so hard to make the indoor space, the outdoor space and beach look simply flawless!!!This was a truly perfect vacation for our whole family!

Amazing House & Amazing Staff

Villa Vidorra was a great place to spend your Cancun/Tulum vacation. The staff was UNBELIEVABLE, and the private bay right out back was great! If you have the stamina to snorkle there, there is an amazing reef around 1km off the coast by the wave break. If you plan on driving a lot, maybe best to rent a car, as the taxis can be a little pricey in the area, though otherwise the staff and host were able to arrange all of our pickups for us with ease.

Manuel (head chef) and Luis (bartender) were simply the best. They made the vacation. The other staff members were great too. The quality of the food was amazing. We could go on and on about Manuel's culinary talents. But his managerial skills made a huge difference as well. It's like having an onsite property manager.

Exactly as promised, exactly what we needed

The property is lovely and well-maintained. The staff is unbelievable, each one made us feel so welcome, and they attended to our needs (desires) promptly with smiles on their faces. The food was exceptional, the drinks flowed, and they even did our laundry. The owner helped us find and book different excursions, covid tests, yoga, and massages (all of which were excellent) and was responsive to all our questions during the week. Special shoutout to Manuel, Jalil and Vicky for making the 9 of us feel like royalty.

Everything you need all in one place!

If you are looking for a vacation with all the amenities all in one place, look no more. The house is perfect for a group with a pool and the beach all within steps of each other. Communication from the property managers was seamless and timely. Manuel and his staff are top-notch. The food and drinks were delicious. The house was cleaned daily and everything we needed to relax and enjoy the property was there for us. The excursions recommended by the property manager were fun and safe. Guests should plan to spend money on drinks/meals daily as this is not included in the price. The staff relies on and expects significant tipping upon departure. We were happy to do so, though the need for that much cash wasn't trivial. Second, providing information or a connection for transportation to get around the area (and a reasonable estimate for cost) would be helpful. We were very happy with our time at Villa Vidorra. We highly recommend this property and hope to be back in the near future!

Absolutely amazing, A must stay!

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, it was an amazing experience. The wonderful team is so attentive, friendly and offered us outstanding service! The home is beautiful and you walk out the back door and you are to a beautiful beach within a few steps! We actually try to book another stay while we were there but because the property is so amazing and run so smoothly, it books very quickly! We can’t wait to go back!

THE BEST PLACE ON EARTH !!!!!!!!1

I cannot put into words how amazing our trip was. From the second we got there to the second we left we were treated like royalty. Luis and his team are THE BEST - the food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were even better! The cleaning staff was on their A game - I woke up, went downstairs to a beautiful breakfast, and back up to my perfectly cleaned room less than an hour later. My friends and I had the most amazing time and I HIGHLY recommend. We will be back !!!

Stunning property with a great overall design for all guests to have their own privacy while having plenty of options to congregate and be with the entire group. The pool was super fun and of course, having access to the ocean was a cherry on top! We will be back!!

Our stay at Villa Vidorra was incredible. We are seasoned travelers and always stay at luxury accommodations (Montage, Ritz, Four Seasons). Our time spent at this villa was the best travel experience we’ve ever had. We spent a lot of time searching for the right place to take our families on vacation. The lead up and help we got from the owners helped make everything so easy. They organized transportation for us, a fishing excursion, our Covid tests, and more. When we got there the property was even better than the pictures showed online. So much detail and there was tons of space for us all to spread out. It felt like we had a mini resort all to ourselves. The beach was stunning and we pretty much spent all our days there. There was snorkel equipment for us to use and we went out on the stand up paddle boards every day. Luis the bartender would bring us cocktails to the beach and make smoothies for the kids. There was always appetizers and little snacks throughout the day. The staff was amazing and took care of our every need. The maid was even going around folding and organizing all the clothes and stuff the kids were throwing around. We saw her clean the lenses on my wifes sunglasses and never said a thing. The food was delicious and we were able to order anything we wanted. We went out to eat one night but decided after that it didn’t make sense because we had to transport and it was cheaper and the meals just as good if we stayed home. Overall the experience was awesome and we will definitely be booking another stay there.
