The property was superb in every manner. To the visual and emotional senses it was comforting and relaxing. Our host was impeccable to detail and made our stay more than just a trip but a memorable time with family.

Host was amazing! The view is unbeatable and proximity to everything was great. Had to keep candles lit to help with the dull/stale smell but having candles made it totally unnoticeable (candles were supplied)! The amount of room in the house was really amazing, and the host had so many things available at our disposal if we wanted! One of our favorite parts was how secluded the house was - truly a tranquil experience tucked away in the mountains!

I stayed here October 2026. The location was perfect and the cabin was beautiful and comfortable! Comfortable beds and temperature control. Cabin stocked with paper towels, tp, dish and laundry detergents. Enough spices available and a grill outside. Saw huge fish in lake, still not sure what they were, but they were over a foot-long. I am not a fisherman! A close enough drive to visit Asheville, make sure to see the Biltmore and eat at Omni Grove hotel with spectacular views of the mountains! Beautiful waterfalls to see and hike and blue ridge parkway to drive along with pullover stops to take stunning pictures. Hostess was very gracious and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. A beautiful place!

Our second time renting this cottage, just as lovely as the first. Quiet and peaceful, we spent nearly every evening out on the deck, watching the wildlife on the lake, cocktails in hand. Literally a mile away from one of the best golf courses in the area, with a nice restaurant as well. Asheville, Hendersonville and Brevard all an easy drive if you want to shop till you drop. Within 1/2 an hour of some of the best waterfalls and hikes you could hope for, this area has it all. House is super comfortable in a private area, grocery store and a few other good restaurants within 10 minutes. Pretty ideal in every way. Already looking forward to our next stay.

perfect little spot for a family getaway. very private and close to Pisgah and Dupont forests for tons of hiking and recreation options. would definitely stay here again.

The house was infected with bugs and ants. The outdoor furniture was filthy. I complain to the host many many times and nothing really changed during my whole day. Even the garbage situation, there was lots of lots of garbage when I arrived and it wasn’t picked up for days and days. Then I would set my garbage out for pick up, for the time I told that would be pick up and the pick up never happened. The basement smelled of chemicals

After opening the door the odor of mold was over coming. Nothing was clean, floors, oven, stove counter tops, as well as the beds (no sheets). I walked down stairs to find mold on the couch and foot stool ( couch color was orange with a heavy gray mold covering them). I called and was told she forgot to have the cleaning person come. With the amount of mold on everything This place should be completely remodeled for health reasons. She did admit it was her fault and reimbursed all of my money. I was renting it for my daughters wedding and the guests and my self had to find hotels during a holiday to stay at. Not a Happy renter!

Great spot!

We loved the location! It rained a lot of the time we were in town and this property gave us a beautiful vantage point to slow down and enjoy the rainforest we were in. Would definitely stay here again! The lake was great, lovely patios, and very comfortable beds!

Cute lake house with a great view! Lots of amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. Location is quiet and close to Brevard and Hendersonville. Would love to stay here again!

Our kids loved paddling on the kayaks and we loved hanging out on the dock and deck. Close to lots of great trails and a peaceful, beautiful location. Fantastic all around.

We had an amazing stay at this property. It was so relaxing, yet the lake offered our teen boys things to do…fishing, kayaking, swimming. It was hard to leave! You won’t be disappointed staying here-book the trip!!!

The location was just right for us. There were some items brought to the owner's attention that she said would be rectified going forward. The owner was responsive and amenable to compensation for the items and our hope is that she follows through with that.
