Hi Melissa, thank you for taking the time to complete a review, but we are disappointed in the 3 Stars as we were not made aware of any issues during your stay. Next guest did not mention any leak but did identify an issue with the cleanliness of the pool caused by a leaking pump. We have now replaced the pump, which could have been done during your stay if we were informed.

We are very disappointed that Iris did not enjoy our property, but this review needs some clarifications. The guest arrived on Thursday, and at 3:50AM on Sunday morning she started sending messages about the security of the windows, including the strange fact that she called the police. I assured her that the windows were secure and the damage was only cosmetic and was caused by guests attempting to close the windows incorrectly (not by dry rot). I requested an emergency callout from the management company. They called over on Sunday morning and confirmed that the windows were secure, but she would not accept this and was very abusive to them. I only received the photos on Sunday afternoon which also confirmed that it was cosmetic. The windows have now been repaired. There was also excessive damage to the rail of the sliding door following this guest's stay, which had to be replaced. There were a number of blind slats broken on the sliding door. These have now been replaced by curtains. The pool is cleaned and chemically balanced weekly, but heavy rain showers may cause some surface bugs which guests can easily remove with the supplied net. We can't do anything about the cranes or bugs on the outside of the netting. This is Florida. There was water damage to one dining room chair cushion which has been repaired. There is no dry rot in the house. The management company was called out only once and they responded quickly on a Sunday morning so I don't understand why the guests had to reschedule their Disney tickets several times. The wifi went out due to Spectrum maintenance activity in the area. I forwarded the email from Spectrum to the guest. It was working again after the maintenance period ended. This is outside our control. Finally, I am sorry to hear that one of her children had to attend ER with Influenza, but to blame this on the house is amazing, The house is professionally cleaned and sanitised between guests and was empty for 4 days prior to her arrival, so highly improbable that the house rather than other activities was the cause of the sickness. As the review was the only mention of ER it is not surprising that we did not respond or call.
