New!! Take a look at our VIDEO!! After you scroll right through our photos, it is after the last photo.

Spend a relaxing vacation in a very quiet private apartment on the entire first level of our personal home, overlooking Eastern Lake. This spacious living area is nestled in a grove of scrub oaks, on a bluff overlooking a lovely coastal dune lake, less than two miles east of Seaside. The Gulf of Mexico is less than a hundred yards away.

You can venture to the beach with a short walk down the boardwalk at the end of the street, or you can cruise in an old canoe through the inlet, which is where most of the natives here go to play. Deer Lake State Park is less than 1 mile to the east. All Scenic 30-A has pedestrian bicyle and walking paths. WaterSound and Rosemary Beach are within 6 miles to the east. This is located in a quiet, nice old Florida neighborhood south of 30-A on the Eastern Lake, with restaurants, shops, golfing, and bike rentals nearby.

We didn't want to leave!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect spot for us to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Our boys loved canoeing in the lake, fishing, and pulling up the crab trap. They had so much fun loading up the canoe with our beach gear and paddling down to the ocean. My husband and I loved the cleanliness and privacy of the cottage. We were in the perfect location and never had to drive too far to get what we needed. It was a vacation to remember. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Lovely accommodations with spectacular views

  • 5 of 5

Lovely apartment for a couple or a couple with 1-2 children. Cozy, nice furnishings, incredible location. Wonderful decks, docks and much more. The views are stunning looking out on the lake and the beach is so near you can see it. Paddle from the lake directly into the ocean. The public access to the beach is just steps away. We loved it. Nice part of the beach.

Fabulously relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

We found just what we went for...relaxation! We were able to Canoe to the beach, fish, catch crabs, take in the scenery and relax! This cottage is well maintained and very comfortable with absolutely beautiful landscaping. My spouse and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary here and would definitely go back with our family!

Cute little apartment for a small family!

  • 5 of 5

Well kept grounds and plenty of room to eat and relax outdoors. Kids loved the pirate ship. Would recommend only for small families of 4-5 for comfort. Parking was limited to parallel to street only so be careful with small children. We found it just as easy to walk to the beach although an aluminum canoe is available. Owners were easy to contact via email and clear instructions given days before arriving.

A great location, perfect place and wonderful hosts!

  • 5 of 5

See earlier review from April. Really can't say enough good things about this place. We came back in the Summer and had another wonderful time. The kids bring their ipods/ipads but don't even charge them up for the entire week, which is nice to see! They play hard all day, kayaking, fishing in the lake or boogie boarding / paddle boarding in the waves at the beach. If they have any energy left in the evening its an easy bike ride or quick car ride to the nearby restaurants and shopping. If they don't have the energy, (which is a good thing also!), the place is has a full kitchen for preparing dinner and a fantastic deck to sit and enjoy the sunsets while grilling.
