Beautiful cottage with a gorgeous bay view. Quiet and serene yet very close to alot. An hour to Plymouth, 1/2 hour to Newport. Great take out and eat in options abound.

We had really nice girls weekend! The house was super charming and had everything anyone could ever need for a great stay! The view on the water was so amazing we really enjoyed drinks on the deck watching the beautiful sunset and just relaxing. So many restaurants, shops and things to do with Newport close and Bristol too. Carol was.quick to respond though we didn’t really need anything lol! Thanks for having us, this getaway was just what we needed!

Staying here was like staying at a friend’s home! Everything you could possibly need is there and the location can’t be beat! Being able to travel with my dogs and have a fenced in yard and the water right there was heaven for me! Carol was great to work with any time I had a question. I would love the opportunity to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Amazing views as soon as you enter !Loved the fully enclosed back yard for our dog . Such a relaxing time sitting on the deck with our morning coffee and our night time wine . Very easy to walk to great pubs and restaurants and the nearby beach. Thankyou Carol and Doug .

The host was very communicative and so very pleasant to all issues or questions we had. The home was a 10/10 for view. It was well equipped and living areas were comfortable. I don’t recommendEnd very young or older people sleeping in the upstairs. They are wooden, winding and have no tread. I took quite a fall on day 2 that severely impacted my time there and for which I’m still receiving treatment for. My almost 2 yo grand daughter took a fall as well. There was a gate at top of stairs, I suggest one at bottomMattresses were verrrry soft. We could not sleep in master because of it. Fenced in beautiful yard, amazingly comfortable outdoor furniture, fire pit, sauna made the back yard our primary hang outWonderful area very relaxing!!

Father's Day Weekend

Perfect spot for our family to spend Father's day weekend together. Even the dog was able to stay! Great Location. Plenty to do in the area even if it rains! Owners were easy to deal with and very quick to respond to questions.

Not What We ExpectedThe house is in a waterfront community, but it is NOT Oceanfront as indicated in the listing. It overlooks a cove on the Sakonnet River. Also, the house is bright and modern on the waterfront side, but old with small rooms on the other. Two bedrooms and the half bath are reachable only by a narrow winding staircase. We enjoy doing some cooking, but the lack of a dishwasher made cleanup more difficult. The views from the deck and sunroom are lovely. The location is good for trips to Newport and Providence. It is within walking distance to local eateries and a riverside beach, but we expected more for the price we paid.

Charing home with a spectacular view

We spent New Year's weekend here. The house was warm, cozy and very clean. The ocean view was fantastic and we will definitely come back again!

A well loved comfortable property right on the water with views. A nice new deck and yard.

A beach bungalow with views and a nice back room with big windows overlooking the sea. Beautiful area with restaurants nearby. Pet friendly is a plus we appreciated. A suggestion would be a bigger lobster pot as a soup kettle doesn’t hold 4 lobsters

Wedding

We were invited to a wedding and had never been to Rhode Island so we decided to rent a VRBO for a week to explore the area. The location was great with easy access to restaurants and was in a nice area to walk our dog. The views from the property were great and it was very relaxing to just sit on the porch and stare at the water.

We are a married couple with four grown children, one grandchild so far, and love the blue ocean and nature. Doug has his own business restoring roofs, and Carol is a registered nurse.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love the location and beautiful views. Also having a nice clean ocean to swim, boat, fish, and go clamming in without getting in your car to find and pay for parking is wonderful. It is our happy relaxing place to enjoy and we feel blessed to have been able to purchase it.

We do not need to leave here to have fun, except to purchase food and explore nearby scenic funfilled towns like Newport for a change.
