SANIBEL UNIT 832 FAMILY VACATION

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sanibel Moorings loved the location and convenience. On the down side, the couch was not useable with cushions sliding off. The screened porch had wasp and could not utilize the porch. Second bedroom the dresser drawers were not secure. Kitchen ceiling molding had no lighting. Patio door, one of the panels was installed upside down. If these issues were fixed, we would recommend this unit to a friend. My inlays gifted us this unit for our family stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice condo. This is our fourth year staying at Sanibel Moorings. We love Sanibel Moorings. This condo was furnished well. The bathrooms were a bit dated. The kitchen initially lacked a spatula and whisk which were replaced. There weren’t any mixing bowls. One of the nightstands had someone’s clothes in them when we arrived. We will stay at Sanibel Moorings, but will try another unit most likely.

Room 832 Very Disappointing!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This room is old, dated and depressing! Many things are rusted and should be replaced. The can opener is so old and rusted I was nervous to use it. The shower in the master bedroom is so tiny, if you have claustrophobia you will not be able to use this shower. The couch is a sofa bed but to just sit on it the cushions did not stay in place as they seemed to not be the ones that belonged to this couch! Looked terrible and was so uncomfortable to sit on! The living room lamps the shades cannot be tightened so they bounce and move around as well as the switch moves around as the base is broken! There aren’t any simple things furnished and already in the condo such as pot holders, salt and pepper, oil or can spray, etc! Staying a week, the groceries you would need to buy to be able to cook meals would be huge! We spent over $425 just to get somethings to have in this condo! The paddle boards and kayaks were not available due to Covid they told us and the place we were given to call for rentals beware: they service Ft Myers Beach area first so our 9am rental did not arrive till close to 4pm and you paid for that day! I could go on and on but the final comment I have is don’t rent room 832 and if Sanibel Moorings Resort offers these types of rooms to unsuspecting travelers looking for a beach destination, this is not the place you want to spend your money or time at! The staff are either not happy to work there or just plain rude! I saw staff throughout the property but not one smiled at us, greeted us nor ever spoke to us!

Absolutely Love Sanibel Moorings Property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love Sanibel Moorings and have stayed at the property in several different condos. Unit #832 was our least favorite: the living room furniture needs to be replaced. The leather couch cushions will not stay on the couch which makes it almost impossible to sit comfortably on it. The master bath needs to be completed renovated. There is mold on the shower door and on the ceiling. Overall the condo was good but would recommend these two upgrades.

Great time

The only suggestion would be is to get a new couch. You can’t even sit on without all the cushions coming off. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Thank you

Couch crisis

Overall the condo was nice. I was a disappointed in our couch as the cushions would not stay in place and slid off when we attempted to sit on it. The manager at the property said to report it through this survey as this was the way of communication. This couch needs to be replaced. We love Sanibel and our weather was wonderful. All in all a good trip.

Great location and property

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Sanibel Moorings. The location was great, the beach was perfect and the pool was fun for our group. The only complaint was from the teenagers who said the Wifi wasn't as fast as they would have liked. Overall We had a great time and we will be back.

Winter break

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and the kitchen fully stocked. I wish we could have used the kayaks, but covid was their excuse. The grounds were beautiful and a short walk to the beach!

Lovely

Spectacular gardens on property. Unit well-equipped. All employees very friendly and efficient. Beach right there and full of shells. It has everything you'd want.
