The host is the “most” when it comes to welcoming and accommodating one’s needs for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I consider it a second home and the apartment is near most of my favorite places. I can hardly wait for my next visit.

Home away from home

First I want to say Wilson the host, was amazing he was very helpful in helping us get settled in and accommodating us. The apartment was very clean, with plenty of space with all the amenities needed for our stay. The area felt felt very safe with constant security.

I need a place.for few nights when villa is rented. This is #1.choice Price excellent . .it is cozy like ones own home .impeccable in cleanliness,Internet,appliances,and wonderful beds. I felt so comfortable and at home that I cooked a pot of collard greens. The owner explained everything that I needed so completely; that I did not have to disturb him with additional questions. I look forward to another stay in the future. My sincere appreciation and thanks to the owner.

Amazing location and friendly host!

The apartment was conveniently located just a five minute walk to Copacabana beach and just down the street from a Metro station; which was very easy to use to get around the city. There were plenty of nice bars, restaurants and grocery stores in the area as well. Wilson was extremely friendly and helpful even with the language difference (we spoke very little Portuguese) and was happy to offer tips and suggestions for the city and neighborhood. The kitchen comes fully stocked and we were able to cook dinner for ourselves once after buying produce at a weekend market. I would stay here again for sure!

Perfect place

The neighborhood is solid. Quick walk (<10 min) to the middle of Copacabana beach. There is a grocery store a block away, and tons of great food and shopping in the area. There is a metro station very close though we never actually used it. While the street the apartment building is on is quiet, it IS right next to downtown Copacabana which can feel a little sketchy late at night. We never had any issues! But worth mentioning.

Great experience all around

We are very grateful to have been able to stay in Wilson’s two-bedroom apartment. He is a kind, responsive, and generous host who matches up well with the other reviewers’ descriptions. We speak some Portuguese but would have been able to get by in our interactions with him with a phone translator or ChatGPT translation.The apartment is located on the eighth floor of a well-maintained building with multiple elevators and 24-hour security. It has a fast wifi connection, and there are English instructions in all of the places you would find them in a hotel. Air conditioners kept the apartment cool when we used them, but it also was nice to open the big, screened sliding doors onto the small balconies. We much appreciated the kitchen set-up, numerous cooking options, and washing machine. It was great having only a two-block walk to a supermarket (inside a mall) or even a shorter walk to a fancier, upscale grocery store.Its location of the apartment is great—half a block from the metro, easy walking distance to restaurants and bars, and a quick walk to the beach. Being right next to the metro, the area is well-policed, has taxis galore, and is a destination point that any taxi driver will know well.

O apto e exatamente como nas fotos. Aconchegante, espacoso, com todos os utensilios necessarios e uma vista incrivel. Fica numa parte movimentada do bairro. Ao redor, todo o comercio que se precisa, metro, bancos e a poucas quadras da praia. O sr Wilson e otimo anfitriao. Muito atencioso, se colocou a disposicao para qualquer eventualidade. Primeiramente vou falar do apartamento : excelente pois tem de tudo para uma estadia aconchegante, tem uma vista linda com pássaros cantando, só barulho de natureza, pegamos 2 dias de chuva e não foi tão ruim pois estávamos num apartamento bem confortável. ... Agora vou falar do sr. Great appartment, clean, conform to describtions and pictures. Wilson is very nice, gives good advices and had prepared the appartment before we arrived.
