Crepe Myrtle is a charming traditional 'old Mobile Bay home'. It is located on Mobile Bay and has been our family retreat for over 30 years. Located 4.5 miles past the Grand Hotel and about 12 minutes from Fairhope, it is close to shopping and restaurants. The approx. 3000 sq.ft fully air-conditioned and heated house includes a large glassed-in porch stretching across the front of the house offering waterfront views with spectacular sunsets. Sit on the outdoor front patio under the old Live Oak trees or take a stroll out on the pier to kayak, swim or crab off the deck. We have 100 feet on the bay with a large manicured front and back yard. Chose from multiple spots within the house for sitting or dining or just getting away from it all. Six flat screen TVs are scattered throughout the house. Cable TV, high speed Internet, wi-fi, and telephone available. The fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen with granite counter tops, includes 2 refrigerators, dishwasher, new convection double ovens, new disposal, gas cook top, toaster oven, microwave, and many small appliances. Washer and dryer located in laundry room off the kitchen. The three bedrooms have 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 7 twins are located on the sleeping porch. The master bedroom has a separate bathroom with tub and shower and granite counter top vanities. The guest bathroom has also been newly remodeled with granite counter tops and walk-in shower and is shared by the 2 guest bedrooms. We are very proud of our house and keep it immaculate shape. Unfortunately we are UNABLE TO HOST WEDDINGS, RECEPTIONS, OR OTHER LARGE PARTIES. Occupancy is limited to the 13 registered guests.

Crepe Myrtle has been our family retreat for 33 years. We have spent our summers here raising 2 children to love the Eastern Shore life style and we are now sharing the experience with our 7 grandchildren. The house is perfect for that family reunion or for our Northern friends wanting to escape the winter's cold. There is nothing to compare to the warmth and charm of nearby Fairhope or a visit to the historic Grand Hotel, just 4.6 miles away, for dinner. Indulge in shopping at the nearby Foley Outlet stores, or just stretch your legs on the wide walking and biking path out your back door. Practice your swing at any of the many nearby Robert Trent Jones golf courses.

We loved every minute-a beautiful home in a beautiful setting!
It has been a busy year and some down time was in order. Crepe Myrtle did not disappoint. The home of beautifully appointed and served our family well. Sunsets on the pier while catching up with family was the highlight of the trip. Ann is a wonderful host and I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay over the bay!
Comfortable, warm, gracious and inviting! Staying at Crepe Myrtle is like living a part of Fairhope history, but with all the modern conveniences and we are thankful to the owners for sharing their lovely home. If you have a large group, this home is just what you need. While there are two lovely bedrooms, each with king beds, the sleeping porch - with its seven twins - is perfect. We could not have chosen a better home to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our book club - all nine of us!
My extended family and I had a lovely time staying at Crepe Myrtle! There were three families - including six children - and we found the home to be a relaxing retreat. The fenced in area at the end of the pier was perfect for little ones, and the sleeping porch was a great fit for the kids. Cell service in the area is spotty, and the internet is not very strong, so plan to unplug and relax during your visit : )
This was our 4th year staying at Crepe Myrtle and each year we enjoy it more and more. Everything is just perfect with this house.
Our second stay at this perfectly situated bay house near Fairhope. Very well maintained and cleaned, helpful and thoughtful owners with a very nice pier for sunsets. Hope to come back next year if not sooner!
Immaculately manicured large front and back yard, 100 feet on the bay, backdoor access to biking and walking paths all the way to Fairhope. Plenty of off street parking. Just minutes to Gulf beaches, Robert Trent Jones golf courses, and Tanger Center outlet shopping. Stroll the boardwalk in front of the Grand Hotel and visit beautiful downtown Fairhope with its many specialty shops and beautifully landscaped street corners. Sunsets over Mobile Bay are not to be missed while sitting on your own comfortable warf.
