Why Nancy, Ted, Rick chose Hermosa Village
This property is unique due to its close proximity to Disneyland and also the large pool and backyard. The cul-de-sac is very quite and family oriented.

Disneyland family vacation
This house was a perfect fit for my big family and there was 11 of us. Everyone was pleased with the house and it was close enough to walk to Disneyland which was a plus!
Just a friendly reminder bring your own towels.
We had a great stay! It was super close to Disney and that worked out perfect for us. Only thing was we paid for the pool to be heated and it wasn’t as warm as we would have liked for the price to heat it. Other than that it was perfect family vacation home.
Great place to stay - had EVERYTHING
We enjoyed the Disney themed house very much. There is a lot of detail that goes into it. It was clean and had everything we needed and more. They are good to communicate and it is very easy to use. Unfortunately, we had to give this a 3 star because after we had set the dates (which were available and were within their parameters of renting 3 - 7 days), one of the owners called and asked if we could change days. He said the next guest was coming in 2 days after we left, and they couldn't rent it for only 2 days by California law so they were hoping we would either change dates or extend our stay. I understand an owner wanting to have the house booked every day, but after telling him we were committed to those time frames because of work schedules, he offered us another house he owned that was smaller. We preferred keeping the house we chose and the dates we chose and told him so. After a few discussions, we ended up extending by 2 days even though we still left a day early and paid for the unused night. We did look for another place to stay with a different owner, but the amenities of what we were looking for were already booked. Now -- if this had been the only time this same rental property owner had done this to us, we would have let it go. Unfortunately, the exact thing had happened before when we rented from him. The owner even joked about it saying "Didn't I do this with you last year?" I suppose since we were driving to California, he felt we could be flexible? We have rented through VRBO a number of times and have never had this happen before. My advice is if you choose to stay here, you tell the owner you are flying and already have the tickets, so he doesn't feel like he can suggest you change your reservation. Especially if you are set on specific dates. If you can be flexible, then don't worry about it. As stated before, it is a lovely place, but we just didn't appreciate the pressure put on us to change our dates and house. The owner was nice about it, but it left us with a less than stellar impression on booking with them since it has happened twice. The place is nice though!
Great location! Perfect for our group of eleven.
This was a very cute home and had all the needed items. Our only complaint would be that one of the queen mattresses sagged in the middle and none of the sheets seemed to fit the larger beds. We all woke up with the fitted sheets off the beds. Such a cute themed home though and so close to Disneyland! (We walked all three days.) We were even able to see the fireworks from the yard one night! We paid to have the spa heated and although the pool was freezing cold- the kids still enjoyed it! If you’re looking for a fun and convenient place to stay with your group- you’ve found it!
Fun Family Friendly Property Near Disney
Our family of 10 had plenty of room to relax, eat, play board games and enjoy the hot tub. The property manager provided a quick orientation and was available to answer our questions by text.
There are plenty of beds-- room 1) 2 queens (that new mattresses), room 2/Dalmatian theme) one queen, room 3/Mini/Mickey Theme) 2 twin over full bunks with twin trundles (6 mattresses), room 4/Monsters Inc theme) 1 king and a day bed with a trundle (3 mattresses). The brown sofa makes into a bed.
The house included enough dishes, glasses, flatware, serving dishes, pots and pans but fell short on cooking utensils. We opted to buy a spatula and replace the shower curtain at a nearby store. I recommend an upgrade to the kitchen small appliance inventory to include waffle bakers, a griddle, and a baking/cookie sheet. The house provided a coffee maker, crock pot, and rice cooker. We used the outdoor gas grill but it was too cold to eat outdoors at the patio table/chairs.
It was fantastic to be able to run laundry during our stay. It really felt like home -- much more so than hotel rooms.
The location was great! Easy to get around. We chose to drive to the park and/or UBER, costing about $5 each time, just to save our legs for the parks. The walk takes you through a Disneyland parking lot, security and downtown Disney on your way to the parks. The property had two strollers available. One had a broken canopy-- and was dirty/unusable. The other, an umbrella style, was perfect for this occasion.
We had a great stay, memories were made, and we ALL hope to return in the future. Thanks for everything!
Amazing Disney House!
Our family - all 11 of us - had a fantastic stay at this house. The rooms were huge and it was close to everything. The pool was chilly - but we paid to have the hot tub heated for the 5 days we were there - well worth the $15/day! It would take you 20 mins to walk to Disney - so even though our ages ranged from 12 yrs - 75 yrs old - we chose to uber/lyft it for only $9 US. Well worth it instead of paying a fortune for parking and having to walk from there. They dropped us off right at the gate. Thanks to Nancy, Ted and Rick for there awesome place. It was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Way to Go Guys! We definitely will stay again when in the Anaheim area!
Our beautiful single family home is located within a short (1 mile) walk to Downtown Disney where you can take the monorail to the inside of the theme park. There are many restaurants, shops, and movie theaters at Downtown Disney.
