The guest who books for these dates will be invited to the event! However, you will not be able to park your car directly in front of the unit on the Endymion parade day, which is Saturday February 26th. This will be a lot of fun!!
Guest Access:
Guests have complete access to the entire house, kitchen, washer dryer, and yard.
The Neighborhood:
One of the safest and family-friendly neighborhoods in New Orleans! Everything is walk-able. Festivals take place blocks away and you'll also love City Park right around the corner! Mardi Gras Parades in every direction. You won't find a better place to enjoy all that New Orleans has to offer.
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.
Getting Around:
The Mid-City area home is walking distance to the Canal Streetcar line. It's extremely pedestrian-friendly and bike-friendly. The Lafitte Greenway provides a safe bike and pedestrian corridor connecting to the French Quarter, as does the streetcar, which you are right in front of!

We absolutely loved this place. We had everything that we needed, and would stay again. It is far enough out of the hustle and bustle, and super easy to jump on the street car, and pretty much go anywhere that you want to go.
The house was fine. Location excellent. So many great places to eat within walking distance.

The house is an older home but it was very clean and felt welcoming and homey. It was convenient to have the streetcar stop right in front of the house. Our host messaged us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely historic shotgun home in a great neighborhood
Nicely restored home, clean, fully equipped, great neighborhood, responsive property management company. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.
First time visit. Walking distance to great restaurants and street cars that took us to all are destinations. Had a great time. Can’t wait to see you again.
