The excellence of the house definitely contributed to the enjoyment of my time in New Orleans. In addition, the location, directly across the street from City Park, is fantastic, and the host was super-responsive to my needs.

We stayed here for our wedding weekend and had plenty of space to have everyone get ready and host for the day of the wedding. Looked exactly like the pictures, was ready for early check in for us, and had no issues all week. Would definitely book again!

NOLA Retreat

Beautiful, clean home located across the street from City Park (5-10 minute walk to carousel gardens and Cafe du Monde, close to Morning Call as well). Spacious bedrooms that were nice quiet (back bedroom had a great view of the park).The kitchen and living room were great spaces for a family of 6-7 to spend time hanging out. Multiple restaurants within 10 minutes walk and 15 minutes drive to downtown and Magazine Street (Audubon Zoo was 20 minutes drive). Ryan was quick to respond to questions which my family really appreciated. Overall, would recommend this home for folks looking for a quiet place near City Park.

Ideal Stay

The property was excellent. Roomy, comfortable accommodations with a great view of the park. Great location with a surrounding neighborhood that is fun to explore and has a lot to offer. More than enough parking nearby. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Most important, Ryan was an incredible host--communicative, caring and included little touches that added to the whole experience.

New Orleans Family Getaway

This was an adult family trip to run a nearby half marathon. The location was perfect, far enough from downtown but only a short uber trip to Bourbon Street. Parking was ample, the kitchen came stocked with some basics and the location, across the street from the park (where there is a Cafe Du Mond), was perfect.

Perfect stay

We wanted to be located across from City Park during a parade weekend so we could walk over and get the kids beignets/playtime and have some distance from the parade route (but still an easy drive!). The house is very clean and comfortable, nice linens & bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen with great coffee & local snacks, and excellent communication with hosts. They even brought us a non-essential item that we’d inquired about for the duration of our stay. Recommendations were excellent, location perfect, adorable and private backyard patio.

Amazing spot for a wedding party!

My bridesmaids and I stayed at this Vrbo and got ready for my wedding here and we couldn’t have found a more perfect spot! It’s even nicer than the pictures and is in the perfect location right across from City Park. The apartment is spacious and beautiful; everyone commented on how good of a find it was. The host was incredibly kind, communicative, and helpful! Would highly recommend this spot and definitely would return!

Beautiful apartment facing City Park

As two sisters and spouses in our 70’s, we stayed at this lovely condo for six nights. It is in a wonderful location across from City Park and has recently been renovated including an exceptional kitchen, three lovely spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. The only negatives were first, a small shower in one bathroom which did not work for one visitor who needed some handicap support. Also, we found the table with stools in the kitchen not as comfortable as we would have liked for enjoying meals together. Overall, a beautiful renovated apartment with a very responsive and nice owner who lives next door. Since the apartment faces City Park, there are lovely views from the apartment and it afforded opportunities for daily hikes on the parks many trails. The neighborhood also has lots of interesting architecture to explore. It was a wonderful stay!

We care deeply about our neighborhood and City and have renovated multiple historic homes. We like to be generous hosts and provide guidance for an enjoyable time in NOLA.

This house and our neighborhood are literally in the "Middle" of New Orleans. There is so much to offer with restaurants, bars, coffee shops and cultural attractions all nearby. All of this yet still across the street from the 3rd largest urban park in the Country.

This is a a complete renovation of a 100+ historic property with high ceilings and original heart of pine wood floors. Our renovation was done with preservation in mind but modern amenities.
