Much needed getaway! 🌲🌲
We were looking for a place to unwind and we found it! House is in a quiet location. Close to boat rentals. We rented a pontoon boat two of the days and enjoyed time on beautiful Moosehead Lake. We cooked nice dinners, played board games and cards. Sat out by the fire. Saw a MOOSE on the side of the road along with Deer in our yard! Beds were comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed exploring the area. It was very humid while we stayed so glad we had brought a fan. One was provided but 2 were necessary. I would recommend this rental.
Great place with loads of warmth and then some. Has everything one needs except… one big downer is that a great place like this with 8+ sleeping spots does not have a washer + dryer. To have to drive to Greensville (1+ hour ttl) to do laundry is not what we had expected.
Communication with Lisa was easy and the place was spotless. Food in almost next door's Maynard was delicious; reservations required. Mosquito heaven so don't forget OFF!
Great place and peaceful.
Great place to go and hide from the stress of everyday life. Got there and was greeted by a bunch of deer and a clean warm camp. Finally caught some fish and put some miles on the sleds. Trails were rough but the 2 hot showers helped out. Great camp. One I wouldn't mind building some day.
We had great time snowmobiling right from the cabin! Plenty of room for our two families...kids loved watching and feeding the many deer! Property management was a joy to work with...would stay again! Best part was the heated HUGE mudroom for all our boots, snowpants and other gear!
The property was clean and very comfortable, it was stocked with everything anyone would need to have a great time. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to our next visit. I would recommend this property to anyone considering it for a vacation.
Ladies xcountry ski weekend
The cabin was very comfortable, even with below zero temps. Comfy beds and well equipped. Great mudroom space for all our gear. Would highly revommend for a Rockwood camp getaway.
The cabin is also only minutes from Moosehead Marina, Kineo public boat launch, and a variety of country stores and restaurants. For snowmobilers, it’s located within a stone’s throw of the famous Moosehead Trail and Route 66, and within minutes of full snowmobile support services!
