Super cute space with great kitchen and laundry amenities. Excellent walkability score, short stroll to beach, shops, entertainment and dining. Host was very responsive and provided extras including beach chairs and supplies. Highly recommend.

This cottage is wonderful. The location is excellent and the house was brand new when we visited in November. The beach is just steps away and the boardwalk is just across the street. We'll definitely be back...

Family 4th of July vacation

If you're wanting a beach vacation with almost everything in walking distance, this is the place to stay. My family and I had a wonderful week there.

Family fishing trip

Love the property, very close to all the night life and shops. John’s Pass is the best!!! Will def be back. Cheri is avail anytime and is an amazing host. Thank you!!!

Comfy

There was a lot of room in this property, and the owner thought of everything that you might need while on vacation, right down to curling iron. This is an older place, very clean. However, it’s about time to repaint the trim inside. The kitchen had everything you would need except food, of course. They did include a little bit of spices, olive oil, and some other things.

Great place for location

Love this place because close to beach, John’s pass across street. Had a hiccup when Debby hit us, owners were great to help. But maybe some games for when guests get stuck in. See you next time

Awesome Beach

The beach was close to the cottage & the water was awesome! The cottage had a great patio to sit and have coffee and a supply of beach gear including canopies & some chairs… the kitchen was spacious & each bedroom had a bathroom - great place for a vacation- close to the pass .

Awesome location!!

Very pleased with our stay! Located directly across from the Bamboo Beach Bar! You can hear the live music by just sitting on the front patio. Had an awesome time! Thanks! Will definitely visit again.

Great Location, Communication, and Service!

The location was awesome - directly across from John's Pass, and very easy to grab some dinner or drinks and see live entertainment! The beach is also very easy to get to, I should have counted the number of steps - but v. close! The unit itself is great - roomy, good amount of space for the family to spread out. The kitchen is huge and there were ample supplies for us to cook our breakfasts each morning. We had a small item pop up during our stay - lack of batteries in the TV remote, and they were dropped off first thing in the morning! We didn't have to worry about being bored that first night as there was entertainment across the street, and there were plenty of books for us to choose from and start reading. After we left, we were more than an hour away and realized our son left his cell phone behind. A quick call and text to Cherie and we came up with various possible solutions that would work, and our situation was resolved without us having to drive all the way back. Everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay. If we're ever back in the area, we will be renting from here again.

Wonderful location and amazing host

Our fourth time staying and we love it more each time. Close to everything, and if there are ever any issues they are addressed immediately. It’s always clean.

BAD. Floors filthy, lampshades and blinds very dusty, looked like MOLD in shower, kitchen supplies very used and a fist size hole in one of the walls and they charge $60.00 for damage which is non refundable. I recommend not staying here.

Great getaway!

We had such a fun time! The location is incredible, walking distance to everything johns pass. The owners were very fast to respond if we needed anything. Plenty of space inside for dinner/cooking! My only note I’d say is that the couch/futon can fit 2 small people, I’d recommend planning 1 person/adult size on the futon.

The Purple Cottage across from John’s Pass

This is the 3rd year we’ve rented the cute purple cottage. It’s the perfect location, just a short walk to the beach and John’s Pass right across the street. It’s very clean and well taken care of. The owners are amazing! We will be booking again for next summer!

1st time to Florida

Clean, working air conditioning and open floor plan and location was perfect with easy access to the beach, friendly people all over the area and overall very nice for a family stay. Our entire family enjoyed the trip!

Cherie grew up in South Tampa and always had a love for the beach. Traveling the 20 or so miles to the beach every weekend when she was attending Plant High School. Eventually she moved to Madeira Beach where she owns a real estate brokerage Engel & Völkers Madeira Beach. Finest Real Estate Worldwide! She also owns a vacation rental management company Vicinity Vacation Rentals.

I purchased this property from the long-time owner because I just love the classic beach cottages. I promised her that I would keep the integrity of the cottage, and not tear it down for a new home to be built. The bonus is the wonderful location. The Cottage by the Pass is the epitome of living the beach life.
