Tucked away in National Forest Land and ideally located between multiple ski resorts and the lake, our Lake Tahoe basecamp is a special place. Immersed in tall pines, woods, and the mountains, enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, and the Upper Truckee River steps from the back door. Well optimized with pool table, fireplaces, PS5, equipped kitchen, huge dining table, and comfortable furniture. With 7 beds, including 3 king and a bunk room, we can host 8 guests plus extra children 5 and younger.

Fully equipped kitchen with gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and everything needed to prepare a holiday feast! A large island separates it and the great room, making the space perfect for gathering and entertaining.



The dining table with seating for 8 (with extra seating at the island) is perfect for gathering with friends and family over a home-cooked meal.

Our Tahoe basecamp offers the perfect outdoor escape. Nestled in National Forest land, the Upper Truckee River is just a short walk away, providing immediate access to nature trails. Despite the secluded feel, you are conveniently located near local grocery stores. Adventure seekers will find Heavenly and Sierra at Tahoe within ten miles, while Kirkwood is twenty four miles away. For water activities, popular spots like Pope Beach, Baldwin Beach, and Camp Richardson are all within a ten mile drive, ensuring easy access to the lake.



Getting Around:

We recommend traveling by car to our mountain retreat since public transportation is limited. You have free parking for four vehicles on the premises, but street parking is prohibited. The cabin is easily accessible from Highway 50. If you are flying, the Reno Tahoe International Airport is about a ninety minute drive away depending on traffic and weather.
